More valuable than price is trust. I had a windy gap in my double door and rang to have it fixed. A very pleasant Man called Mark Poole called and informed me it didn't need a new door, just a touch of oil which he applied free of charge.

New windows doors gutters fascias etc all in in good time except for one window that was supposed to be a fire escape was incorrect. Now getting fed lies about when it is to be installed months later.Edit: turns out there were multiple new Windows created all to an incorrect specification, however the whole affair could have been better handled and we did get a sense of because they were dealing with my wife she could be easily fobbed off. The end product is sound and looks well and the installers were brilliant and efficient. Just one failure blotted the copybook.

We hired Turkingtons in June 21 to install new windows in December 21. The whole experience has been a nightmare from start to finish, which over 10 months later still isn’t finished the fitters dropped silicone all over my block paving at the front, side and back of the house. They also burnt my sons bedding by setting something hot on it if I listed all the problems they caused there wouldn’t be space here All the excuses they have made and the fact that it’s gone on for nearly a year is a scandal they seem to think £238 is sufficient compensation for the hassle they have caused us our first set of windows were installed in 1988 in 2 days and all we had to clear up was dust Do yourself a favour and find a decent company to install windows I so wish I’d read these reviews before they were hired I’ve everything in writing so I’m going to try and contact a solicitor to see if we have a case we can bring against themDate of experience: December 06, 2021The managing director Jonathan McKinley quickly got involved ans sorted out the issues immediately Great proactive response

we initially got turkington windows to install a new front door and sliding patio doors on a property we renovated. we were working to a deadline and were very disappointed when we were close to the installation date for the patio doors and turkington windows backed out of supplying it. on inspection from their surveyor they decided that their installation team did not have the expertise as a supporting beam needed strengthened. this was very inconvienient as we were working to a deadline and had to find a different supplier and installer. however turkington windows did supply and install a new front door on the property and we were happy with this. the staff in turkingtons were helpful throughout and the ordering process in the showroom was very straightforward with a lot of examples and they also cancelled the order for the sliding patio doors without any forfeit. overall I would recommend them.

worst company to deal with for aftercare. Took 20 weeks and phone call to manager to rsctify problems. Wouldn't recommend to any one

Couldn’t have asked for better service after moving into our new home. Nothing was a problem, went out of their way to fix the few snags we had resolved quickly and efficiently. Sent out letters in advance of appointments, arrived on time the day promised. Every member of the team were very professional including a new apprentice being trained. Highly recommend 5x⭐️’s

Shopped around a lot and Turkingtons were the first quote we got. In hindsight I wish we’d just started it there and then. We were a small job and we quickly found that other companies weren’t interested but Turkington’s in the end had the best price, best turnaround time and best staff. The process was easy, windows fitted and sorted in one day and the tradesmen were really friendly and top notch . They said during the quote that they let their customers speak for them which I assumed was sales talk but really it’s true. Seldom you get such good service and couldn’t be happier. When I replace the front of the house I’ll not mess around next time and go direct to them. Totally recommend

Been dealing with Turkingtons for about 2 and a half years now. Every aspect of the service has been nothing short of shambolic! Fitting is very poor, after care a total nightmare, and product not up to standard you would expect. Issues which have arisen either take months to resolve or remain unresolved. I have sent 4 emails since the middle of November, all of which have been ignored. Rang on Tuesday of this week and am still waiting for call back.

Window fitting couldn't be faulted, indeed was exemplary. I know all drafts have gone and the house is much warmer even on coldest of days. However, backup service needs to be improved as you have to wait far too long for any defects to be repaired, for example, broken door locks are a major security issue yet response time is in days as opposed to hours.

I found the service from start to finish first class. Turkington Windows removed the hassle and headache of replacing windows. After installation there was a glitch with one of the window catches. This was speedily resolved to our satisfaction. There was no mess whatsoever and minimal disruption. Apart from the new windows you wouldn't have known that the installers had been there. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending or using Turkington Windows again.
