Declan sold me a floor model tack locker of a brand he represents. In transport it was scratched quite badly. Declan’s suggested remedying this by me purchasing an additional cover. Seemed reasonable at the time. I paid Declan for a custom cover that I assumed was coming from the tack locker company that he represents for their product that he claimed was a floor model, it was supposed to include my logo. It arrived months later, and did not fit not only that but there was no logical way to get into the locker without taking the cover totally off. I relayed this to Declan and asked that he just take the locker back as the process has been frustrating. He said no, that he would get me another cover (bare minimum considering it was something I paid for and should fit). The second cover finally arrived, again months later. It once again didn’t fit and it doesn’t have my logo on it, it has some other logo. I asked him again to take the items back as they weren’t fit for purpose as is (literally the “custom” cover doesn’t fit and the tack locker will still get scratched in transit general use of lockers are for transiting. Declan said that he had “tried his best.” He said he paid for the second non fitting cover out of his pocket. He wondered could we get someone to modify the locker covers. I don’t want a modified chopped up locker cover that doesn’t even have cut outs for the handles, I want a functional custom cover as I was promised. The fact that he supposedly paid for the second cover himself is totally irrelevant. He promoted these products and they are in the catalog he provided me with. I’m still out the money for both the locker and the cover. I queried why the company doesn’t know the dimensions of their own product, he claims the company doesn’t make the covers. He and the company still advertise both the lockers and the other vets on their websites. Declan is happy to give you a catalog for the company, and wants to sell you more products, yet he doesn’t appear to stand behind his products and “trying his best” is providing you with products that don’t fit and then stopping replying to you. 0/5 stars. Couldn’t recommend.
