Dr Ektor Grammatopoulos Orthodontics

My dentist recommended Ektor for orthodontic treatment (mainly aesthetic). I didn't know what to expect at first but the whole team were brilliant and I'm really happy with the outcome. Ektor is incredibly kind, committed to getting it just right" and thoughtful about treatment options. He went out of his way to make adaptations for me when I became pregnant towards the end of the process

Ektor is a genius - absolute magic. Never did I think the results would be this good. Patience, detail, determination and all the skills & techniques - he has it all. I met with a number of orthodontists to see who could fix the multitude of problems that beset my teeth. I knew Ektor was the right man to take on the challenge. Life changing work. Thank you Ektor.

It is interesting to note how negative reviews quickly disappear. I posted a negative review about Ektor Grammatopoulos, with whom I had a very bad experience in April-May 2023 and, surprise surprise, it has been removed. I originally attended for an Invisalign consultation but Ektor strongly recommended lingual braces as a better option. I had to remove the lingual braces after only two days, due to major limitations in terms of speaking and chewing that, of course, he had only superficially mentioned prior to fitting the braces. He fractured one of my upper incisors during the fitting of the braces and did not accept any responsibility for that. The bit of crucial information he avoids telling patients during the counselling session and subsequent orthodontic report is that the resin used to fit the braces will stick very tightly to the teeth and will be impossible to remove completely after removal of the braces. He has left me with full thick squares of resin besides all my upper teeth that is harmful and has damaged the enamel. The resin could not be removed even with full dental hygiene in October 23. As soon as the braces were removed in April 23, he washed his hands off completely and I had to push to schedule a couple of sessions with him to try and remove the resin in May and June 23. He has no sense of duty of care to patients (and I am a doctor myself) and overcharges without any clinical justification. In my case, I spent £4000 and he only agreed to give back £2000 after months of raising a formal complaint, to avoid being sued. I hope this review will not be erased again as it is my genuine experience and feedback. I was hoping to improve my smile, all I got was stress, loss of money and permanent teeth damage.

Ektor is an amazing Orthodontist and his team is second to none! A friend of mine has highly recommended a visit at Ektor's clinic as I was already after unsuccessful treatment in my home country and by then I lost all my confidence that my cross bite and mild lower jaw asymmetry can be treated and improved at my age.The results have been amazing. I can't stop smiling. It has been a long process over 2 years, but it was worth every minute.Ektor was very professional, knowledgeable and supportive from start to finish so was his team!I couldn’t be happier with my new smile now. I would recommend Ektor to anyone even if you think your case might be too difficult, he would assess you and provide you with a realistic options and plan of treatment.

Ektor and his team are the best of the best! My overbite had, for years, affected my confidence. Having had braces briefly as a tween, I was worried about having them again, but Ektor listened, took all of my anxieties and hopes for my smile into consideration and created magic. Choosing Ektor and lingual braces was the best decision I made over the last few years, and I am so grateful for him, his team and my new smile!

Ektor is very knowledgable and professional. My teeth were really impacting my confidence and Ektor helped provide me with straight teeth and a great bite. I also appreciate that Ektor does appointments outside of 9am to 5pm! It was all a very smooth and enjoyable experience

Just finished my orthodontics treatment with Dr Ektor and his team. It was an absolute pleasure and overall really great experience. Had my braces for just over a year and got an amazing result at the end.
