Customer service is always something that will gain my loyal custom. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Lovely little local store.

Absolutely stunning for a convenience store! Affordable items and top-quality.

The store has a good range of product for the size of store, the store is relatively small and can feel a bit cramped at busy times. I've often been surprised and found what I've wanted for baking or cooking. However, some of the staff are rude and not very pleasant. Some of the staff are lovely and friendly but some of the older female members of staff need lessons of general niceness.

Great bakery items clayton park early opening times are a plus beats being stood in the cold outside the bowerham store pleasant staff recommended

Always a friendly welcome, it's a bit out of my way but use for parcel deliveries because of that. Good selection of stock too.

Lovely shop with friendly staff. They do occasionally ask you tricky trivia questions like 'Can penguins fly?' out of the blue. Sells delicious butter pies, excellent.

Refused to take Scottish notes when visitors come to our shop we take note from different parts of uk so long as it says Stirling on it I think it is bad for spar to discriminate peoples by bank notes spar shops are in every town through out uk so it should respect every currency in uk with sterling on its notes the sevice we received was was not nice thinks need to change for you to get 5 stars spar needs to train their to recognise different notes sorry for this comment Lancaster is a beautiful place and so are the people.

My son purchased some onions for me whilst I made tea. The onions that he was sold were almost 14 days over the display date The reason I checked the date was that they were really mouldy and black on cutting into. I then asked my son to make another trip back to the store to change these or get a refund. However he was told that there was nothing wrong with these and to use them. I rang the store to find that the person on the other end of the phone was not helpful at all and thought she had put the phone down whilst I was waiting. After a long conversation they said just bring them back up! My son felt VERY unwelcome and upset on returning to the store and I must say we will not be using this store again. This store obviously does not rotate it's stock and thinks it is acceptable to sell out of date produce and treat it's customers badly. Do not use this store if you want fresh produce.

In this present health crisis the staff/ladies at Greaves Rd Lancaster LA1 4UW have been and are absolutely magnificent!Always cheerful and helpful! Well done!! 9
