Wakefield Limes Hotel

Lovely hotel. The receptionist was friendly & helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had tea/coffee bottled water and juice as well as fruit yoghurt and cereal, which we didn't expect. Free parking in front of the hotel. Would stay stay here again.

Me and my partner had a long weekend at this hotel and I would definitely recommend to people visiting this area. We was welcomed by a lovely receptionist Fran and head house keeper Sarah. They made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room which was to a very high cleaning standard as was the rest of the hotel. We had a breakfast basket in our room that was topped up every day for our stay at the hotel. Felt very comfortable and had everything we needed and more if we asked. Will 100% stay here again.

It's OK. It's far from the worst hotel I have stayed at but I did have a few issues.The bed was giant, but the mattress wasn't exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was nice, it had very good temperature.The motorway is quite loud nearby if you're on that side of the building.The lock was quite difficult to open. Another room loudly also struggled with theirs in the night.The 'continental' consisted of some plastic wrapped croissants.The staff were very friendly.

Nice place. Value for money. Just stayed for a one night sleep. Nothing to complain. Clean room. If you open the windows it will be noisy as its next to motor way, if not very quiet amd peaceful. Good place if you are away for a business visit.

The lady who checked me in was lovely; very efficient and friendly.The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable if maybe a little tired looking in places (in room 7 above the shower there were signs of a leak from upstairs). My room was very small which was fine as I was a single occupant, but definitely not big enough for two people. As there is no food offered on site it might be nice to have been supplied a little fridge or something in the room to keep milk and things cold. Nice that there is a welcome pack in the room that gives locations of local places to eat.Really not a fan of the check out procedure at all! Due to reception only being open in an afternoon, and check out required by 10.30am, you leave your room keys in a basket in the hallway. Meaning after you check out, but before reception is manned, your room key is left out whereby anyone could take your room key and enter the room and cause damage, steal things etc. and the hotel would have to assume you did it. Really think a more secure post box type system should be introduced if you want to continue with this check out procedure.This is very much a get what you pay for" type hotel. Cheap compared to other hotels in the area

Not all facilities were available (bar and cooked breakfast)when we stayed and our double room that was booked and confirmed was just a twin with the beds pushed together and quilt zipped together. All very clean and comfortable though and staff were lovely. Entrance is tiny and easy to miss. Nothing in the immediate vicinity to do or walk to, other than a Chinese take away. We used as a base when visiting family in Leeds. Would stay again to see if things had changed foe the better and give them the benefit of the doubt.

This hotel is now room only.There is very little around it unless you are prepared to drive.Bar and restaurant are closedRooms are comfortable and its quietSome nights there is no staff and you have to get your keys from a lock box.

Fantastic 3 night stay at Limes Hotel. To start with the cleanliness of the rooms is spotless not an inch of dust, food on a breakfast tray with everything you could want. Not just the rooms but the whole hotel very clean and beautiful place for the price. Not to forget the warm welcome staff deliver. All round fantastic stay! Would highly recommend this to everybody.
