EDIT: OUR REVIEW WAS CHANGED FOLLOWING THE UNTRUTHFUL RESPONSE FROM EM. INITIALLY WE DIDN'T LIST THE LIST THE SEQUENCE OF PROBLEMS BUT NOW FEEL THE EXTENT OF OUR POOR EXPERIENCE IS RELEVANT TO OUR OVERALL REVIEW. UNFORTUNATELY EM IS TRYING TO MAKE THIS PERSONAL AND ARE NOW FABRICATING EVENTS, AT NO POINT DURING THE 8 WEEKS FROM THE FITTING TO OUR PAYING DID WE REFUSE TO PAY OR BECOME AGGRESSIVE.We unfortunately had a very bad experience with this company, The workmanship was inferior, including poor pipework, broken roof tiles, waste pipes not secured with bracket to outside walls, garden wall knocked over, pipes in loft looped through alarm cable, flooring in loft not replaced and mains insulation left out in the street. We also realised the boiler they recommended meant no aftercare would be their responsibility. We are happy overall with the location and performance of the Ideal boiler but thought it was loud (fitted in a spare room) so asked for this to be looked at, which lead to a delay in settling the invoice. Essex Maintenance used the time it took for the manufacturer to replace a part to accuse us of not wanting to pay, which was never part of the problem. This company is not customer friendly or respectful and is only interested in the shortest route to getting paid.

We've used this company for commercial boiler replacements and regular servicing. The engineers are very knowledgeable, professional and competent at all manner of tasks. We had a problem with the ignition on one of our external units, one call and it was fixed within the hour as the weather was particularly cold last week. Best company we've used in the last 25 years and competitively priced.......definitely recommended.

Boiler broke on the weekend, called Essex Maintenance first thing Monday they sent a man round who turned up 15 minutes early (that's a first) and he fitted a new water pump that afternoon, much appreciated.

Can’t recommend this company enough.They fitted a boiler perfectly oin a place other companies said was too tight.They service it efficiently and at a reasonable cost.And repairs are honest and carried out to the highest level.Thanks to all the team

Got myself into a spot of bother trying to install a bath. Graham from Essex maintenance came round really quickly. Sorted out my problem in no time and all has been fine since. They were easy to deal with and professional throughout. I'll definitely be using them again if/when the need arises.

Essex maintenance installed a new boiler for my mother in law, she's really pleased with the work , Niall and his team were very efficient, respectful and timely. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely guys and cheap to fix the problem. The owner gave us heating within 20 minutes of turning up and took off the radiator for us. The guy came the next day to sort it and I would definitely recommend them, Thank you

Our boiler installation by Essex Maintenance a few years ago was very professional, clean and hassle free and our yearly service is done in exactly the same way, rang them recently for some advice regarding re-pressurising the boiler/heating system as I had taken a few rads off to decorate and the heating wouldn't start again and the gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful and guessed right away what I had done wrong and advised me how to get it sorted.Excellent company and would highly recommend their services
