Saints Hairdressers

They are very rude! They said to me straightforward on the phone that they don't understand my English and my pronounciation! And they are not accepting my appointment and not going to provide any service. Apparently over phone they can tell English is not my first langauge but it's extremely rude to say they don't understand my pronounciation and my English.They are selling groupon vouchers and I called to make an appointment. When telling them the security code for my groupon voucher, I said A for Apple". But no one in the store understood it. They called me twice. In the first call

Really great haircut and a very lovely man.Lots of tips on products to get and how to style my curly hair better that im still using now ~3 weeks on! Would thoroughly recommend Saints!

Best hair cut I’ve had in years! I’m not the most adventurous with my hair styles but John is a total scissor wizard and made my hair look and feel amazing. John talked me through the process and explained every chop along the way. I learned so much about my own hair and had a great time too. John is very patient and made me feel really relaxed.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. My daughter is autistic and has never liked the experience of going to a salon….until now!John and the team put her at ease straight away and made her feel relaxed and comfortable. The hair cut and cookie was brilliant. So much so, my daughter wanted to book in again.Thank you Saints.

Very rude manager. Extremely racist, insulting and offensive. English is not my first language. He is been so bad with me. I am going to raise an official complaint against him.They are selling groupon vouchers and when you ring to make an appointment. He asked me did you use one before and all I said I don’t think so.I have purchased only 2 vouchers from groupon and these were not of there saloon.If you have issues, create a database and verify if customers have already availed that service instead of insulting them because somebody else has done that to you it do not mean everyone will do that.He was insulting during the whole conversation. Is that what you do with new customers? I will take legal action on that conversation.----My phone call was not more then 2 mins. Mr when you said 5 minutes. You’re making it up. I did said no I did not have a haircut here. I said I hardly had haircut in UK TWICE.I said why would I lie and you said because most people do that

Background:I came to Saints to get my balayage fixed as the place I had got it done at had not been able to give me the result I was looking for (was not toned well and didnt blend well with my natural hair as it should)Adrianna at Saints Hairdressing was very perceptive to my needs and understood exactly what I was looking for. She has a very good grasp of colour theory and was able to give me the EXACT result I was looking for, managed to adjust and blend the colours seamlessly without losing the original balayage. I couldn’t be more pleased. I will be returning here for all future colour appointments (as well as cut, because she did a great job with that too!). Will also bring my mom when she visits!

Tried this salon for the first time after moving to Newcastle. I was booked in with John Dow a wash, cut and blow dry.Overall it was a great experience. Johns definitely knows what he’s talking about when it comes to hair, he’s great conversation. He got on with my hair and made me feel comfortable, informed but with no unnecessary flicking of my hair. I felt relaxed and in good hands.Definitely my new go to salon.

Me and my daughter just had the best experience at Saints getting our hair cut. My daughter is over the moon with her hair and that’s not usual. She was listened to very carefully and given the exact cut and style she wanted. My hair cut is lush too. We felt very welcomed and received a very professional service whilst also having fun. Will definitely go back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been putting off writing this review because I didn't want it to affect getting a refund, but now that's sorted I do NOT recommend Saints hairdressers. I got a really bad haircut here that was nothing like what I asked for! The owner did the cut, and I asked him for a blunt mid length bob but he insisted that would not suit my face shape. I also asked for a middle parting, again not suited for my face shape. I told him Im not bothered but even still he wouldn't listen and told me to change the parting later when I get home. Only when he had actually cut in the style I realised he hadn't listened to a word I said!! I left feeling very unsatisfied but things got worse when I got home. When my partner saw he was shocked and told me it was an absolute MESS at the back :O The photo below was taken less than an hour after the cut, that's how BAD I'm talking otherwise I wouldn't have bothered writing this review!I contacted the owner after that, and from start to finish he insisted that he had no idea who I was, didn't remember me, and even mistakenly insinuated that I wasn't entitled to a refund at one point. I got the refund in the end, and went elsewhere to get my hairstyle fixed (even they where shocked). Lastly I would like to mention that I've seen Saints respond to other bad reviews (on groupon) saying things like 'you should have come back and we would have sorted it ourselves' so I would just like to say in advance that I didn't go back because I didn't want anymore bad experiences, I went somewhere I trust.
