Saturday night takeaway was great. Food was tasty and good portions.Two negatives 1) They forgot the rice (one and only portion) 2) They didn’t answer the phone (20min after order it was ready).

I live in a neighboring village and everytime I order from here I have no complaints and the food is always hot and tasty and I have never had to wait long for food to be ready.

Never again! We have used these take away for a few years now and never had any issues. But the last time we used them was the complere opposite. Mucking up out food order we called them back and informed them. We thought it's ok we have always had such good service it will be fine. How wrong we was... the girl on the phone was rude. We had a total of 3 phone calls with them trying to get confirm what we did an did not have. The second lot of food turned up 1hr later, they said 15 mins. Then they even charged us saying we had order more. Oh and shocker the second food was still wrong! Never again we will use this takeaway! Especially now I have found the 1 star food hygiene rating!

AwfulTwo months ago I partook in spare ribs in barbecue sauce. I have had them before from here over the years and they were fine. However, on this occasion they were not too good.Very dry, chewy and not too much meat. We all have off days so tonight the 5th April I thought I would give it another go. Bad mistake.I returned home to find that there was actually no sauce. I tried one small rib and it was horrible. Greasy and chewy as before. Fortunately we live up the road so I took them back. A very pleasant young Asian guy who was on the counter was most apologetic and returned them to the kitchen. Five seconds later my (by now) cold ribs were returned with a dollop of barbecue sauce. I obviously asked for a different order of the special curry which was provided without complaint as I was not prepared to risk the dodgy ribs again.Was this good? No. Not really. Swimming in sauce (albeit not bad) with no peas or water chestnuts etc; that I have had from other takeaways. I should add that the prawn crackers I had with it came in abundance but they were too greasy. I am getting on a bit and am not one to complain but this place seems to have changed somewhat over the months. I will not be going back Im afraid and would certainly advise other folk to go elsewhere.

Very friendly staff, always speedy service and tasty food. Used a few times now and always consistent and reliable.

Food was nice but the woman behind the counter over charged us and we would of got more sense talking to our dog. Never got a refund and ended up telling her to keep the £5. And very rude with an annoying smirk on her face.

Terrible food the chicken was tasteless and dry tasted like it had been warmed up. I rang to complain i was offered no refund no re order the owner was rude in background in broken English. If just looked at the food hygiene online it's poor I'm never ordering from the oriental express in kinver again. Do no order from here

The best food and friendliest I have ever encountered.Food is absolutely amazing, best takeaway would highly recommend.

We use this place quite frequently they're always friendly when taking our order. But most important is that the food is always hot and tastes really nice. We also like and use the Lotus just depends how busy they are!

Second time buying from here, theybare cash only, but they are open Tuesdays. Food has been excellent tasty and hot both times, and wait wasnt too long at all. Will certainly use regularly from now on.Staff friendly and welcoming.
