Purchased carpet for home renovation which they also installed, visited the shop numerous times whilst making our decision, and each time staff were very helpful willing to share their knowledge. The other big complement I can pay is they give valuable advice even if it means you end up ordering a carpet which overall costs less.They offer a free measuring service which meant when the carpet was installed there was very little carpet left over.Managed to get the carpet delivered and installed on time especially with the challenges of the lockdown.They also make mats and rugs from your carpet leftover in store, which we were also very happy with.

Very disappointed with their service. They sent a carpet and wood fitter. The wood fitter cut one of my electricity cable and did not even tell me. I had to find out by calling another electrician. The fitting service was really poor. When I contacted the store they don't give any satisfactory response. They took my money at beginning. By causing too much trouble the left the job unfinished. I will never recommend to anyone about them because they are not trustworthy. They don't keep their commitments.

Poor attitude and service from staff. The shop was empty yet the attitude and energy were really disappointing. I wanted to support a local business and spend money to get 3 rooms done. I had even called before and gone to get a copy of the engineered flooring label from storage so they could see if they could supply it.The young man seemed to have forgotten and couldn't be bothered to look at the details. Even though he said it was him I had spoken to. I wanted a quality alternative to porcelain tiles and he showed me cheap lino. Please train your staff. I dread to think how many other customers you are losing Or maybe you dont care. Such a shame.

Salesman at this shop was friendly and gave me time to browse before I arranged for the house to be measured after I picked a carpet. I don't live far away so the bloke popped round half an hour after I got home. Carpets duly arrived and fitted. The two fitters were pleasant, quick and professional. Very happy with the results. The cost was reasonable. I don't have a car so it was nice to be able to visit a local shop. Would have given five star rating but on calling the shop to pay the outstanding balance I didn't realise I was expected to pay in cash. I don't keep several hundreds of pounds in the house. I paid by debit card which to me is another form of cash. Their is no transaction fee to my knowledge. Bit surprised when I was told that by paying by this method their may be some delay in paying the fitters??? Other than that pleased with the purchase and service.

Really fantastic job, I love my new stairs and hallway. Great quality carpet and laminate. Fitters worked so hard. Cannot recommend this company enough.

These people are thieves they don't even deserve 1 star I chose a hessian back carpet on the day of fitting the bought a feltBack but I had already paid 50% deposit I called the shop they said can't give you hessian back because felt back is cheaper DO NOT USE THIEVES

Can't rate the place highly enough. Had some leftover carpet that I wanted to make into mats for high traffic areas of my home (it's called carpet whipping apparently!). The helpful chaps at Carpet Matters made the 7 mats in 1 hour while I waited and all at a very very reasonable price. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I had laminate floor fitted by Mike and Andrea today from carpet matters. Workers at the shop were very helpful. Happy with price. Brilliant quality flooring. Fitters were excellent. Strongly recommend

We've been searching for a stairs carpet for a while, had a few quotes and then I found Carpet Matters...from the first call when I booked home visit they were professional and extremely efficient. The guy who came to measure stairs was super fast, it took him 8 minutes, next day we went to the shop to choose the carpet and made appointment for the fitters to come in two days.Guys who came to fit the carpet were almost faster than the guy who came to measure it, it was ridiculous, they were finished in about 30 min tops. Great service, great product, great company! Wish there are more like you.

Very pleased. The quote was booked in early and they quoted a competitive price for fitting a carpet to my stairs that I had already choosen. All staff that I spoke to were very pleasant and the fitter was very friendly and polite and ensured that he worked around an issue that another carpet fitting company had said they couldn't manage and had advised that I ask my bathroom fitter to come back and resolve. The carpet looks and feels great.
