Foxton Locks Long Stay Car Park
Less popular because you have to walk more! £3 for 24 hour parking which was reasonable. Parked here to complete a 9 mile circular walk through Laughton, Saddington, Gumley and back to Foxton Locks

Foxton Locks Long Stay Car Park
We arranged to meet up with family who had hired a narrow boat for the weekend. The sensible meeting place was Foxton Locks which has a 24hr Long Stay Carpark. Note the 24HOUR bit! We were staying on the boat overnight so we thought we could leave the car here for 24hrs BUT there are signs everywhere saying No Overnight Parking". I mean

Beautiful place loved watching the boats up and down the lock ate in one of the cafes food was well priced and very tasty. Lovely day trip

The long stay carpark is ok. The ticket machine was a little bit of a pain as it wouldn't take cash. It took a little time to setup the app to pay using my phone, but that was ok

Foxton Locks Long Stay Car Park
Wonderful experience. Try to chat to narrowboat owners - we learned so much. Stayed for the whole time to watch a couple of boats finish the last couple of lock gates and then a boat going up through all 10 gates. Absolutely fascinating. Nice cafe at the bottom for coffee.

Foxton Locks Long Stay Car Park
Cost to park is £3 all day which you can't really complain at, it's a very standard car park with toilet facilities, it was very muddy when I visited with leaves everywhere which made it slightly slippy so just watch if you're parking up with anyone with mobility issues.

24 Hours parking at a cheap price. Toilets available in the carpark which were immaculately cleaned. Very short walk to the Canal and locks. Easy launch for Kayak or Canoe. There are also picknic tables dotted about. Will be visiting again soon.

Foxton Locks Long Stay Car Park
Lovely place for a walk and a pint, food and ice creams also available from the shop. A place where you can just watch the world go by, well the narrow boats anyway!
