Robert Burns Statue

Dundee has family significance for me. A great place!

There's many statues of Burns throughout Scotland, Dumfries, Paisley, Glasgow and Ayr to name but a few. He's deep in the heart of the Scottish ethos and some of his poetry is rather good, my personal favourite being Tam O' Shanter. This square in which the statue sits is quite a scenic part of Dundee with the High school and church turned Art Gallery and with Dundee racing towards cultural prominence I am sure it can attract many visitors if properly promoted.
