Iceland Supermarket Plaistow

Don’t use unless you really have to, Some of the prices are too much for example, 500 Grams of sugar £2 then 1 kilograms potatoes £2.25. In the cost of living crisis them prices are unexpected where even local other shop sell same items far cheaper than Iceland.

Is a good place, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the shop itself is clean and stocked all the time, so for a quick shopping, you can find anything you need pretty much all the time.

The staff are always cheerful and friendly. Great value, great produce. I can't believe how much the simple things like eggs, milk and bread have gone up in price, but Iceland are always STILL the cheapest! They have some great offers like, 3 items of meat for £9! And the quality is always great!

The staff are friendly its easy to find what you are looking for there, I mostly use this branch of Iceland's in the morning when it's not so busy and quite.

This is an excellent Iceland branch with lots of items available. Parking after 2pm during Monday to Friday is free.

This is my local & I normally never have any problems however on the 12th August 2023 the woman there (Juliana I believe her name is) was SO rude to me and my friends. It was clear she was having a bad day & she needed to take it out on people. She made comments about us not being raised correctly & proceeded to make comments such as “black women always bring trouble in this shop”. I was gobsmacked by her comment & I will be reporting this to head office. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve heard of racist encounters coming from this store. I’ll be spending my money at the Canning Town branch moving forward.

Over priced goods. Waitrose is legit cheaper than Iceland for basics. Do yourselves a favour save money and shop elsewhere. One basket of groceries is a mortgage in there. 4 quid nearly for not even 500f beef mince. Is 3 quid for 500 in Tesco guys. Every item is cheaper anywhere else I have researched. Iceland are the the supermarket with highest price hikes of all UK supermarkets at 10.1% with no justification but GREED

I only gave 3 stars because they've put prices up too much, don't take me wrong is a very handy food shop to have near but they've put proces up a bit much. They have offers when instead to buy one product 3 are cheaper that 1 but is like they force you to buy more in order to get it cheaper. Also the store is quite narrow if may I say that. If busy, is hard to move around, especially if you have a wheel trolley. Other than that, Iceland is Iceland. I still recommend Iceland store even if they not that cheap as before.

I want head office to check cctv and look at the attitude and stinking behaviour from your Security Guard.I was on a self check out till and he had to keep coming back to apply the store log in so I could do my shopping.He came over and berated me in front of other customers for not knowing how to use the till according to him. He was in a bad mood as he was busy talking to a female member of staff who was just sitting down doing nothing.He then went outside and was vaping at your entrance doors where customers are walking in and out of.Is this normal behaviour? Is this the training you give to these degenerates?Should these uneducated imbeciles talk to your paying customers the way your security guard spoke to me?!Do not employ staff with aggressive, uneducated and stinking attitudes to work in your stores. Nice and tidy store. Very convenient but most of the food trolley are in the shop floor and can’t get access to few selves. Otherwise it’s good place for shopping.
