Disgusting treatment toward staff members.

You know when you visit somewhere and people really care about the job they do and the people they care for then here it is ! I glanced at charts in my dad's room I listened to a chef discussing menu choices and when I asked for some more juice for a very tired old guy that same care was there at every stop and done with a smile , going one step further people recognise me not as a frequent attender but as my father's son as seen on pictures on his bedroom wall ! I can truly say that my dad is in the best place possible at his new home !

Omg this place is like heaven on earth. My dad had been in 2 so called dementia homes in york.... that's code for they lock em in n leave em..Dad had a stroke so was paralyzed down the left side abandoned to sit bored to death unkempt no encouragement.Within 3 months of being in Vida Grange on montpellier he has regained useful movement and is encouraged to move around the unit he looks 110% better always smart clean well shaven.. nothing is too much bother.. the team are amazing he even stood!!! I cant thank these guys n girls enough... this is specialist dementia care. Vida should be the measuring stick that all dementia homes are measured by. Would 100% recommend.

Top quality dementia care. Facilities all state-of-the-art but it's the staff that make the place so great. I'm very happy that my father is being so well looked after. Highly recommended.

To carers considering to join Vida - have a second thought, please. Quite many good workers have recently left for the very same reason: management that cannot manage. They're good at keeping up appereances, but if you expect some sort of respect or appreciation of your hard work - I have to dissapoint you. The house manager chose verbal manipualtion wrapped in a sophisticated manner over honesty. Needless to say about hypocrisy when it comes to promoting mental health and well-being and (not) supporting their own workers. I hope the owner of the place will finally do something about it, for word spreads fast.

Here at Vida Grange you are always felt welcome especially by the managers we are all a family and all work as a team when we need the support we get it from everyone
