Monkey Puzzle Chesham Day Nursery & Preschool

We love Monkey Puzzle in Chesham - it is a very family orientated nursery with focus on child development. The communication is excellent and they are great at updating the App which shows you almost real time what your little one is up to. The garden is lovely with lots to do and most importantly the staff are brilliant!

Our 2 year old son has been attending Monkey Puzzle 5 days per week for the last 8 months and he seems so happy there and it's been so great to see how he has developed in so many ways since starting. The nursery send us photos each day of the children's activities which include regular trips to the park as well as fun activities that the staff have arranged. He seems to have really developed socially since attending and we are constantly amazed at the things he has learnt and how his speech has developed. The staff seem to genuinely care about our son and I can see how happy he is to see them each day. As well as all the fantastic care, the food options there are really impressive with a varied and nutritious menu available each day. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Great to see Monkey Puzzle Chesham opening its doors to a brand new nursery! We popped over to the open day last weekend and were hugely impressed with what we saw. My daughter started with Monkey Puzzle Chesham a few weeks ago. I was really worried about how my covid baby would settle, having had very little contact with others. The first few settles were tough and I was feeling very anxious. It’s been three weeks now since she has been attending the nursery fully time and she has settled so much quicker than I expected, which I believe is a testament to the team in her room and management. I am so grateful with the way the way the team worked with me to settle my girl and make things work for us. They have been very flexible and very happy to listen. It’s a weight off my shoulders. It’s lovely to see the updates I get now through out the day and the wonderful photos showing her enjoying nursery!

My daughter attends this nursery and I cannot praise them enough. During the pandemic, I have been working and they have remained open since July to support us with childcare. They have strict policies in place which are communicated when there are changes. The online app, they use to post images and videos of my daughter and document her daily diary, which is provided is amazing and is a great add-on to a first-time parent like me. I love seeing what she is learning and how my child is developing. The management team are so caring, positive, happy and dedicated and this shows through in everything they do. My daughter is happy to come to Monkey Puzzle Chesham and created incredible bonds with her carers in her room. She loves getting messy but a testament to her having fun with the activities planned. Added bonus is the chef makes up some great fresh meals which he shares pictures of often. Thanks for all your hard work.

Our son attended the nursery for 7 months in the baby class and loved it. The staff is caring and provides updates and photos during the day which is so important. our son was having fun, did lots of activities and made friends. We will dearly miss the nursery when we will move out.

We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing about Monkey Puzzle Chesham and we’d recommend it in a heartbeat. Our child is so happy there and really thrives in the caring and supportive environment the staff provide for him. The rooms are well equipped with good outside space and lots of different activities, the food varied and healthy, the staff take the children out and about regularly, and they keep us updated every day with photos and developmental notes, which we love seeing - it’s been such a joy to see him grow and develop since joining last year and see him get excited about going to nursery in the mornings.

My 7 month old son attends this Nursery, it reopened in January 2020 with new management and staff and it is a real gem. My son has settled in really well and that is down to the caring nature of the staff. The setting is wonderfully equipped with new equipment, newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The baby room has a dedicated nap room which is like a home from home. They have great outdoor space too. We have received such a warm welcome and the level of communication is second to none. The management team have a real passion for providing high quality childcare and this is reflected in the level of care that my son receives. After looking for a suitable nursery for a few months, I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter joined Monkey Puzzle age 2.5 without ever been cared for by anyone else and never had attended childcare. I was aware this was going to be a massive transition and anticipated a real challenge settling her. I have to say the attitude, approach from the staff and general atmosphere of Monkey Puzzle Chesham made the experience easy, smooth for my daughter to adapt and without ever a single concern from me. In just a few months of attending she has grown from being non verbal with strangers to forming full sentences, having a great interest in books, other children and people, a great sense of imagination and I feel she is getting a real headstart educationally too. I have to credit of this to the staff and management.
