Bentley pond

This little pond has been free to fish for the last 20 years or so. It's absolutely chock full of small roach (2-8 oz hectic action) and around 20 or so carp from 2 to 5 lbs. There are also 4 or 5 bigger fish that run from 10 to 16 libs (3 or more in the session ok). If you fancy a bonus catch, fish with luncheon meat at the edge of the bushes on the railway side and you might just catch the resident Alligator snapping turtle, currently weighing around 6-7 lbs (I kid you not!) Be careful of any Eastern European's that turn up as they are usually there to check their previously laid baits for the carp, which they kill and eat. These are easy to spot as pop bottles (floats) can be seen dotted around the pond. Do not cut the lines as this usually results in a bit of a kicking! All in all a pleasant days fishing

Hi does anyone know who owns this small pond as I’m interested in making this nice and useable again for people to enjoy I’m willing to put in a lot of work for this as I hate to see things go to waste out in nature
