Premier Inn Derby East

Lovely place to stay. Great customer service from all staff. Only drawback was that we had to wait for over an hour for food :(( Would have been good if there were more kitchen staff, chef, etc, especially when you were aware that a large group of people was going to stay at your hotel..

We have stay in quiet a few Premier inns. Stayed here before. But it's looking tired, and it needs to have a little up grade to keep things working efficiently. . The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Terrible service in the restaurant, The Staff gave me the menu and said “You can sit anywhere “. After ten minutes I had to go to the bar and request my food order, The food was fast coming but the chips were cold, I then again had to take my plate to the bar and request my dessert, but the person behind the bar had to ask me what I ordered. I did not feel valued at all, if anything I was a hindrance to the staff for wanting to be served and foodI would not recommend this restaurant to anyoneupdate, I went to the bathroom for a shower, and in the sink was facial hair from the chap who stayed in the room before me, I have came to the conclusion that the rooms don't get cleaned properly too,

Stayed here as I was working locally...my room was clean and a good size, it was hot but there was a fan. I also had to leave my window open...which wasn't ideal as I was right by the noisy A52 and the contractors that are working locally sat in their vans till late...drinking, smoking and generally being quite loud.Food was good, but service was a tad slow when it was busy.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly, helpful service, comfy beds & lovely clean rooms. Breakfast was lovely, again staff only to happy to help. But to cap it all, my son left his cuddly toy dog in the bed, and we didn't notice till we arrived home over 2 hrs drive away. I rang the deputy manager Darren, who was only too happy to help. He called me back once they had found the dog, and I sent a stamped address envelope. My son was sooooo happy to receive his beloved toy dog through the post along with a lovely letter of what he had been getting up to on his extended holiday. Thanks Darren and team east. Highly recommend this hotel.

The lift was out of order on arrival. And reviews from 4 months previous said the same. The room had a strange smell even after they cleaned, the food was good but they ran out of everything after 3 days of my 7 night stay, location is acceptable for Nottingham and derby

Rooms are neat and tidy, and good size. Location is near an industrial area, good for work travellers.Restaurant service on a Sunday evening is terrible! I've been here twice now and both times an extremely long wait for dinner. This time I'm here at 7pm, the restaurant is almost empty but I can't get a seat for another hour because they only have one cook! Last time was also a Sunday night, and waited almost an hour to get my meal. Meal last time was average.

A well maintained, quiet and comfortable Premier Inn that offers a reliable and enjoyable breakfast. The staff are friendly, free on site parking, WiFi and the rooms are the standard comfortable layout, one comes to expect. Sadly no AC in the room we had, and this made for some discomfort, although there was a standing fan provided, which offered some relief though not enough. All round a pleasant stay and we would likely return when in the area.A special shoutout to Simon in the morning team running breakfast, an excellent and natural host who provided excellent customer service and is a credit to the business.

We have stayed here 4 times now abdvwere quietbsirprised at a few thing during our 1 night stay.Lift not working on arrival. Not informed before arrival that it was under maintenance so anyone who cant walk upstairs would be stuck. Breakfast the next day was interesting as NO toasters worked and kitchen staff had to make toast, had to ask for a few items to be restocked as no-one was keeping an eye on items to be restocked.Rooms are lovely, but passageway to rooms is starting to look a bit tired.

Our room was on the second floor and the only lift was not working. Given that I have limited mobility, access was a bit of a mission. Also, the room was not serviced after the first night, so day 2 we had no coffee in the room, unwashed cups and wet towels. Not up to the usual Premier Inn standard.
