Excellent service from the staff on every occasion, the hotel is aged but still operating, Our room was separate from the main hotel building where the restaurant, spa and other facilities were located, in an out building. The location is commutable to cotswold but still a good half an hour drive to most attractions.

What a place!Really was not expecting this hidden gem for the price, located so close to the cotswolds.Recently stayed for business and was surprised at the grounds, food, and facilities available.Food was phenomenal, as you can see pictured. The spa was clean and recently refurbished, plus the grounds are just a pleasure to walk around.Rooms are good and require a little updating, but the whole experience more than makes up for it.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The gentleman on reception when we arrived was so lovely, he gave us a room upgrade, and the room was stunning. They also sent a complimentary drink to our room for us. Thank you so much. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice. I couldn't fault it. Sadly, we didn't have the chance to use the pool facilities as we were off to Bath shopping the next morning but will most definitely come back and would absolutely recommend it. Thank you so much

Stayed for a few days for work, so really only slept and ate here. The room (a courtyard room) was comfortable with nice furnishings but did feel a little dated, particularly the bathroom.Staff were all very friendly and cannot fault the service. The conservatory offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside at breakfast and I would imagine the terrace would be a lovely spot for a drink in summer.

This place should be closed if you ask me personally. The room we was in lucky no.13 was appalling. Single glazed horrible dirty windows that you can't open to the curtains because everyone can see into your room. The breakfast in the morning was shocking. The windows looking out to a ok view was so dirty you just don't want to look that way. Service poor. The pools tills broken on the stairs. All I can say positive for this place is Simon when we was checking out was very hospitable and a pleasure to briefly chat too. Won't be back.

Booked in by work for a course and very impressed. Old School decor and layout but that's what I like, everything really doesn't have to be grey and white !Good selection of food from Bar Meals during the day till around 6 when a proper restaurant menu kicks in.Breakfast is help yourself Continental with other stuff cooked to order. Eggs Benedict very nice.Recommended

The location is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful setting to enjoy a drink on the balcony. We had a meal and was absolutely beautiful. I had a ribeye steak with truffle and parmasan fries possibly one of the best steaks I've ever had. My husband had the lamb and said it was also delicious. Followed by a lemon and raspberry mousse I would personally call it more of a posset but regardless was still yum and the Eton mess also yum.I thought the drink prices were a little expensive but I'm not from the area so could just be the local prices £11 for a glass of rose and £8.50 or £9 for a gin and lemonade. The room was also very nice I would say the bed was a little hard but that's all down to personal preference and could do with a little updating but would upgrade the room next time we came. The breakfast the next day was a lovely continental that is buffet style with a lovely selection followed by a cooked breakfast made to order, delicious sausages and bacon.Would definitely return.
