We booked two rooms and both were very nice with everything we needed. Rooms and ensuites were clean and comfortable with kettle, tea coffee and a good sized TV. Wifi was free and good quality. The beds were super comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts filling and tasty. The younger people loved the bar area. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting Beamish. Unfortunately, we had a horrendous journey to get there and didn't arrive until midnight. We had telephoned ahead to let them know and the staff waited on duty until we arrived providing us with a warm welcome when we got there and showed us to our rooms as we went as a whole family.The next morning, we were provided a wonderful breakfast with excellent and friendly service.The hotel was hosting a wedding and they were very busy but we found that nothing was too much trouble and service was quick and friendly.The location of the hotel was good and there was ample and easily accessible car parking.Would we stay again? Definitely. Thanks for your warm hospitality and hope Thanks for waiting until the early hours.That was appreciated dedication.

Right, so i can see the owners do not respond or reply to reviews on here, so this is just to advise others before thinking about booking here.Check in was a farce, no one at a small desk in the restaurant, 4 or 5 waitresses just run off their feet and occasionally looking at us standing there, until one waitress said to another sort them out

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the room which was very comfortable and clean to the staff who couldn’t do enough to help and were so friendly, to the food which was flavoursome and plenty, not hard on the wallet either. Breakfast had a wide selection of continental and the full English was perfect. Evening meal was a Mediterranean delight. An absolute little Gem tucked away in Blaydon. Exceptional stay thank you. Your staff do you proud.

This is a lovely resteraunt, there are a collection of rooms off the restaurant which the beds are comfortable and have en-suite facilities.The food was good and not too expensive. The layout of the restaurant was really nice. The staff were really attentive.

Welcome, breakfast and staff absolutely excellent. Large carpark, spacious room and comfortable bed. Seriously let down by it's plumbing! With a bathroom refit and a decent shower this place would definitely get 5 stars from me.

My best friend had their wedding night celebrations here and a good chunk of the party booked a room for the night too. The staff are very warm and helpful. The food was great across the board. The surrounding area provided some lovely hangover walks. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant ran by two brothers. I've been coming here with my family for ad long ad I can remember and saw it change to the beautiful place it is now. Lovely food and environment! Excellent happy hour menu that is on all week :)

We had our wedding here. Yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment of booking to the day has been hassle free. A big thanks to Katie, Paulo and all staff the organisation and food was excellent.

Ate at the restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary. The food was incredible and it was the best calzone I’ve ever had. My husband is American-Italian and was also impressed, which is a good sign! The staff were friendly and always responsive. Will be taking my parents back for lunchtime in the lovely outside seating area next week! Thoroughly recommend!
