Dance Today

All of the girls who work at dance today are brilliant. They spent so much time helping me find my perfect shoes. Although I took some time deciding (due to such a variety of shoes), they were happy to help and were patient!Dance today is such a beautiful shop and has everything you need from dance wear to uniforms.I highly recommend this shop!Well done to Helen and the team ❤️❤️

Great selection of dance shoes & accessories.Fantastic, knowledgeable & patient sales person. It’s a bit off the Blackpool centre, but it worth of short tram ride along the picturesque sea front.

I love this place. Was in last week and nothing was too much trouble. Such great personal service. I can't wait to pick up my new dance shoes next week.

Such a lovely dance shop, we were visiting Blackpool for a cheer comp and happened to stumble across this shop. Lovely selection of leotards. The area at the back where pointe shoes are fitted was lovely, I wish we lived closer and my daughter was able to have had her points fitted here. The staff were very helpful.

Been visiting this shop for many years as I have 3 “dancing” granddaughters! We went to the original site in Cleveleys too as my eldest granddaughter is 12 now. The service we’ve received has always been second to none which has meant a lot. When my eldest granddaughter was fitted for her pointe shoes she was made to feel like it was a very special occasion. We really appreciate Helen and her staff and the girls love their visits there. Thank you.

Took my 3yr old daughter to get some jazz shoes. The lady spoke to my daughter as if she were 10 and barked orders at her like ‘come on! Push your foot in. No you’re doing it wrong!’ When my daughter didn’t quite understand what was being asked of her the lady was very insulting and rude. She does look old for her age and I politely said to her that she is only 3. Still she made no consolation. She made her feel scared to speak and the lady said ‘you look miserable about getting these shoes’. She also took one look at her feet and said ‘I hate handling feet. I should be paid more to touch feet.’ I was furious and it made my daughter feel ashamed. That’s surely part of her job to handle children’s feet. She was abrupt and abrasive. She has zero people skills. Then to top it off the price of the jazz shoes was extortionate. I was so shocked that I looked up the price on the internet. No wonder people opt for ordering online with the overinflated prices and the terrible customer service. Do not go to this shop for a pleasant experience. We vowed never to go there again.

I visited this shop today to purchase a full outfit for my 3 year old daughter. The staff were very busy, but extremely, polite, efficient and helpful.I am at a loss with the negative feedback I have read as we experienced a wonderful shopping experience.Thank you very much for making a 3 year old girl, and her mummy, very happy.We will be returning very soon.

I used to rely on the Nutcracker when as I danced from 2-21 and have returned to them in their new shop; Dance Today since going back to dancing a few years ago. They genuinely take time to show you different options and explain the differences between products. I have been fitted with new flat ballet shoes, tap shoes and pointe shoes within the last year and am as pleased with their service and the products I ended up with as I always have been!

Not a good experience today. Spent an awful lot of money in this shop recently. Ordered and paid for personalised dance shorts for my daughter as a Christmas present. Went to collect today to be told they hadn't noted a record of any payment and they don't receipt personalised goods that are sold as they only accept cash to pay the '3rd party' who stitches them. After asking for payment to be told already paid, we were 'kindly' told, 'oh I'll take your word for it you paid'. Sorry but absolute insult!
