Drive MG York

We found Minstergate very helpful in making our choice of an MG4. Our initial impressions were not good, but this was not primarily their fault; they just had a very long order time and no demo car to show us. But it felt like we were being turned away; no contact details were taken. However, we returned 3 months later and had a very different experience. We were impressed at the way we were asked fundamental questions to help us to ensure we chose the model that most closely met our (highly unique) needs. There were issues around the significant uncertainties with delivery dates, but these seemed to relate to the way that MG did its business with Minstergate, rather than any shortcomings with the dealership. As a consequence delivery estimates went backwards then forwards, creating difficulties with the disposal of our then current car. We were disappointed not to have been told about the Affinity programme, as this made a material difference to price we finally paid. The handover went smoothly, and entirely to plan. We much appreciated the immediate after-sales service offer of a further technical briefing on the car - switching to our first EV is a whole new experience, and a very pleasant one. Despite all these niggles, we would use Minstergate again.

Having driven MG's in the past I was really excited to explore the new range. This was my first new car purchase after 15 years of driving Renault and I have to say how blown away I am with the value the MG3 provides. It is an exceptional car for its price range, The drive, look and handling of the car is fantastic and it is really fun to drive. Minstergate MG York were also really easy to do business with, and my overall buying experience was fantastic with a great deal, and no hassle. Would gladly recommend both the car and the dealer without question!

I can honestly say that we were looked after from the start! Ian was warm and welcoming and was on hand to answer any questions, but not at anytime sales driven, on collection we were given lots of information to assist getting to know the car making it an easy journey home. I can highly recommend Minstergate York. I have just taken delivery of my new MG4.The whole process was a pleasure. I was left to look around a display model at my leisure. I immediately ordered one and Ian has been fantastic to deal with throughout.As for the MG4. Fabulous car. Beautiful to drive. Solid build quality. I expected it to be nice, but it far exceeded my expectations. Try one.

I've always found Minstergate really very good for both purchase and servicing of my cars. No different with my new MG HS, the car is great and salesman Ian Creek was really very good as well, he explained everything to me and my wife, leaving us feeling confident we had made the right choice.
