Just had an amazing afternoon tea with old school friends from 1963/4! Beautiful food, beautiful place, good service and lovely company. All in all a wonderful afternoon and would recommend The Copper Pot highly xx

Finally had the opportunity to visit this fabulous tearoom in Darton. The hospitality received and the quality food served makes this a golden find in Barnsley.Impressive selection of freshly made cakes, made my choice of food a challenging one. Also a place that serves Rooibos tea; a result.Highly recommend this local business for that tearoom style experience.

Myself and two daughters aged 7 (yesterday) and 4 visited today and received a warm & friendly service.The girls enjoyed their finger sandwiches with crisps and cucumber sticks with milkshakes. I enjoyed the panini and diet coke.To finish the girls had a lovely and generous slice of the orange chocolate cake Great value at £2.50.The tea room is very clean and as road side parking.Definitely recommend.

Ordered tea for 2 for a birthday present.Collected from the shop, it was all freshly prepared and wrapped with China tea service, table cloth, knapkins and cutlery along with tea pot and cups.Absolutely beautiful.Fresh sandwiches, scones, cakes and trifle.Perfect.Definite 5 star.

I popped in for a mini breakfast in September shortly after the opening day.The service was friendly and efficient in a relaxing atmosphere.The meal was exactly what you'd expect from a well established cafe which is praise indeed for a fledgling venture.There was a selection of homemade layer cakes that looked too tempting to ignore, so I took away a generous wedge of coffee cake, which I enjoyed immensely later in the morning.Overall, it was well worth the visit.

Went out for a drive and came across the copper pot by chance. Stopped for lunch and so glad we did. The food was delicious and we were given such a warm welcome by the owners. We had cheese and pickle sandwiches which came with salad and crisps with a choice of bread. Lovely home made cakes on offer which we have brought a slice home. We will definitely be calling again soon .

Popped in for a coffee and panini. Very nice. Place is spotless. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Very filling, tasty and at a a very reasonable price. Worthy of any visit.

Thankyou Simon and Diane for a wonderful afternoon tea for 8 of us wonderful sandwiches home made cakes trifles just 2 much ... Took 5 boxes home . Not belong before were calling for coffee and cake again .
