Cost actually came in very close to estimate - I added a few things as work progressed. Took a little longer than expected but delighted with result. Really really helpful ! I had a dripping mixer tap (Howdens). I sussed that I needed a replacement cartridge but it looked as if I could only purchase same from Howdens. Went to Howdens and they only deal with trade; as the tap was dripping and I'm on a meter it was no use for me to order on-line and wait 2/3 days. Therefore went to Screwfix in St. Helens, who could not have been more UNHELPFUL *we need a part no. cos we operate like Argos" Therefore went to Prescot Plumbing where the guy was really helpful; selected a couple of cartridges from stock and carefully measured them

Had a new bathroom supplied and fitted by prescot heating and plumbing. Fantastic service and the fitters top notch. Can't fault anything. Such a large selection of bathrooms to choose from upstairs. Delighted with my new bathroom. Thanks Paul.and Darren. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a local firm to replace 5 radiators and to add another radiator to my downstairs toilet. I chose this firm because of the good reviews. They came out and measured up, saying I would get a quote 'in a couple of days'. I waited over a week, I rang again. Spoke to the same fellow. He said he'd get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago! Not good for what I thought was a very good local firm! Just wasting my time!

I needed a plumber to replace some pipe work. The first time I phoned, the guy I spoke to took all the details and told me someone would phone me within the next couple of days. I gave it a week then contacted them again. I think I spoke to the same guy who said he couldn't find a record of the previous call. He assured me he would let the plumbers know and said one of them would shortly phone me to arrange when the work could be done. Some 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting.Maybe it was because the job I wanted doing was relatively small - if that was the case, I would rather people say so than waste my time.
