The Brook
Felt like old friends coming home although it was the first time I visited this gem of a pub. The Landlord, his wife, the serving staff were gracious hosts...absolutely wonderful food and drink. Lovely atmosphere.

UDATEThe garden has had a colourful make-over and looks fantastic. Hopefully we can now have some decent weather to enjoy it.Home made Chicken Tikka Wrap - absolutely perfect when it is too hot to cook at home and just want something light. Chicken was unbelievable moist and seasoned to perfection. Served with a large bowl of cooling riata and served on a wrap - homemade by Tosh. The Brook is a brilliant local pub (one of the original 4 pubs on the corner of the old Brentford Football Ground) with lively banter and where you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome regardless of if you are a local or not. They always plays great music - Tim the owner has a massive vinyl collection and you will spend an evening listening to a very eclectic and vast range of music genres. If craft beers is your thing, let Tim talk you through the constantly changing options available - he is like a sommelier for beer and he chooses his beers with real care to cater for different tastes. They also have a great wine selection.Currently they have a guest chef on Wednesday and Thursday doing authentic Thai cuisine which has become a firm favourite with the locals.Really worth seeking out.

What a hidden delight! Brilliant food (very generous portions) amazing hosts and welcome (treated us like old friends!) and wonderful family atmosphere. We have lived in London for 20 years and this is easily one of the must visit pubs around. Tim and Tosh - great job. Ravi and Jhet

Worth the visit. A bit off the beaten track but has nice food and a friendly atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and chatty. The music was a mix of Linda Ronstadt, Ringo Starr to The Shins (the night I was there anyway). The decor is welcoming. Great wine selection and you can taste wine before you buy.The pub has a beer garden which looks like it would be worth visiting in the summer.Has a glitter ball as well which adds an element of camp along with the relaxing vibe.

Enjoyed a visit to The Brook recently. The landlord Tim is a great bloke full of knowledge about his beers and wines and also very personable. We tried the patatas bravas from the starter menu and they were delectable. It was also great to see Dexter the pub dog getting around enjoying many pats from the punters. Great stuff!

The Brook
A one-of-a-kind neighborhood pub, with the most hospitable hosts Tim & Josh.. Along with their lovely dog Dexter! You don't feel like you're in a pub, rather it feels like a friend's backyard with a bunch of happy souls coming together and being social..We would've loved to have a few bar bite options to go with the beer, but they do have a great menu (Indian to Thai to Fish & chips)A must visit if you're around Brentford!

Happened upon The Brook it by complete accident on our way to another favourite of Brentford’s great range of pubs. It’s tucked away in residential roads. Felt the warmth of a clearly much-loved community pub from the moment we walked in. Charismatic and friendly/welcoming landlord made all the difference. Only had time for a couple of pints of the very quaffable ale but definitely intending to come back for more and to try the food. Deserves to do well - wish it was my local.

We found The Brook after search for a craft bar within walking distance of the Novotel Brentford Hotel. As soon as we stepped in we were warmly greeted by Tim the owner and his lovely partner. They have a great selection of craft beer, ciders, wines, and gins. We sat in the beer garden which was lovely with comfy cushioned seating and large tables. We chose 2 dishes from the Thai menu and both were freshly made and delicious. We decided to sit inside later and there were lots of quirky objects to get you talking about. We returned on Sunday on route from Brentford train station. Tim played a variety of singles from his huge record collection on a record player and had a great knowledge of music. We will definitely return and highly recommend both the food and drink.
