Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport

Rooms were up to the standard of a Marriot, service was appalling, I've never actually experienced such bad service I a hotel.We were booked for a 7.30 meal, we entered the room and went to get drinks at 7.29, we were told very very rudely that they had been waiting for us because we should have arrived at 7.00 (we checked later and it clearly said 7.30)Starters came out straight away, they were ok but you could tell they had been under the heat lamps.After 5 minutes the mains started coming out!! Regardless of whether we were finished or not.Now the real problem, most food was cold, burger was raw in the middle, chicken was awful, steak was tough (I'd ordered a ribeye!!) And hadn't been rested properly, nothing came with a sauce but was promised it would come, one guest didn't even recieve their dinner!!!If they thought we were meant to turn up at 7.30 I can understand why the starters weren't up to standard, what I cant understand is that if your table hasn't turned up why have you already cooked the mains!! It's madness!No one ever collected any starter or main plate, glasses at anytime we were there, we ended up putting the uneaten food on the table in the corner.We ordered drinks at the bar after 20 minutes we came back and nothing had been done so had to reordered again..We ended up getting an uber eats and other guests also did by the amount of mopeds coming and going!!As an executive chef, I understand that you can have some bad days, it's the way you deal with them and find a solution to keep everyone happy.We had (a manager?) Come in, give some waffle of how in his culture food is so important that he takes this very serious said let's just put this behind us

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful.The location was very convenient (the bus to the airport is every 15-20 minutes and is 1.8 pounds per person)If walking to the airport note that from the hotel it is quite a steep walk (about 15 minutes)The dinner was nice.There is a (very) minimal gymWe booked the room for 3 people, but when we arrived it was made for 2, without enough towels and with the sofa bed unmade (just a sofa). We told them about it and it was handled immediately.The sofa bed was not the most comfortable.The shower water flow was very weak.The room was not very specious

A 15 minute walk down hill from the airport (follow the hotel signs outside the terminal) leads to a friendly welcome and a comfy room. Basic, but not bad because of that! You can expect a little noise in the rooms as no soundproofing is perfect, but it is not disruptive.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel located at Luton Airport. Overall, my experience was enjoyable, with many positive aspects to highlight. However, there were a few disappointments regarding room service and the requirement to collect food yourself.Firstly, I found the location of the hotel to be incredibly convenient, especially for travelers needing quick access to Luton Airport. The proximity to the airport made arriving and departing hassle-free, which was a significant advantage for me.Upon entering the hotel, I immediately noticed the clean and sleek design of the lobby area. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests. The check-in process was swift and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room in no time.Speaking of the room, I was pleased with its modern decor, comfortable furnishings, and cleanliness. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the linens were of high quality, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room also featured adequate amenities, such as a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a spacious work desk.Despite the positive aspects, room service left me somewhat disappointed. While the food offered was of decent quality, I found it inconvenient to have to collect the meals myself. Ideally, room service should ensure a seamless transition from ordering to delivery, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in the comfort of their room. However, having to personally retrieve the food detracted from the overall experience.Nevertheless, there were other dining options available within the hotel, such as the on-site restaurant. The restaurant boasted a varied menu with delicious meals and a relaxed atmosphere. Moreover, the breakfast buffet was extensive and offered a wide array of choices to suit every palate.Additional amenities at the Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport included a well-equipped fitness center, which allowed guests to stay active during their stay. The hotel also provided complimentary Wi-Fi, ensuring that connectivity was never an issue.

Rooms nicely appointed. Breakfast very good. I found the rooms a bit noisy for me, air con, general hotel sounds plus external noise, traffic and planes.

Easy access from Luton Airport Parkway station. Originally my wife and I were travelling to Israel but due to the ongoing situation, we changed our destination to Amsterdam. The hotel were good to alter our date of the non refundable/amendable booking. Breakfast was nice although there was no coffee in the hopper of their machines which was pretty annoying. Don't expect that from the Marriott!Hotel security is good, entrance doors locked at night, keycard and reception intercom access available. Staff are nice and helpful.

Hotel near Luton Airport, looks fancy, had an overnight stay twice 2 separate weekends, rooms were nice, bathroom also very nice, with sundries included, tea coffee ect, and the breakfast was lovely, will use this place again if necessary. Also gym available which I used, not too much stuff In there but enough to keep on top of your workout

Hotel is about 15 mins on foot from the airport. The staff is quite friendly but it was difficult to get city travel and food recommendations from them. Besides that the rooms are really spacious and clean. The morning breakfast is 11 pounds if you reserve in advance and the choice of food and beverages is great. There a bus right in front of the hotel that gets you into Luton city centre in 10 mins.

Excellent rooms, friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend staying here even if it's a little pricey. 10-15 min walk to the airport as well as regular local bus services that stop outside.
