Would like to thank Ashbourne golf club and members for making Heath Hayes golf society so welcome again yesterday. Members and staff a credit to the club. Breakfast lovely as usual and golf course superb. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Friendly relaxed club with a challenging but not impossible 18 hole 71 Par course. 6000 yards on yellow tees.A few ponds to lose your balls in and neat practice area with small driving range and practice bunker.Greens and fairways are in excellent condition and quick.Well worth a visit and the views of the peaks are incredible.

A fantastic golf club with extremely helpful staff both in the pro shop and in the club house. Though we’re not members we were still greeted with open arms and made to feel very welcome. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Excellent game of golf, the course was in great shape and the greens were rather fast. Gorgeous pint of ale afterwards and the best fish finger sandwich I’ve ever had!

We are visiting the area and decided to play Ashbourne. We really enjoyed it. Some very interesting holes and the course was in very good condition. We would recommend it.

Held our first golf society outing at Ashbourne Golf Club today (04/08/21) and had a great day out. Course is challenging in many ways - lots of hills to negotiate - and was in great condition. Fantastic views of the surrounding country-side as wellPre- round and post-round catering was exceptional. Not sure you will find food of this quality in many other golf club houses.Staff in pro-shop were friendly as were the bar and catering staff.Don't think you can go wrong if you choose to play this golf course.

Played the course on Tuesday 12th October while on holiday near Ashbourne, the course was in great condition with amazing panoramic views over the Peak District. Was invited by two members to join their group on the first tee and was grateful for their advice on navigating the course which provided a tough but fair challenge and with their help I managed to play to my handicap. Thanks to Rob and Ross for showing me round. Hopefully will be back to play again at some point in the future.

Followed satnav to find the course. It took me up a narrow single track road for about half a mile onto another road which led to the entrance to the long driveway down to the carpark by the clubhouse. There must be an easier way to get there. Very good course with a variety of holes. Some fairly level and others undulating. Played on a hot day so it was hard work. Nice clubhouse and the Carp in the pond loved the biscuits I gave them. I will play there again.

Played here on a sunny Sunday evening and really enjoyed the course. The tees, fairways and greens were in really good condition, and as far as the holes go my favourite was probably the uphill par 3 9th, although I enjoyed all of the par 3's.Of the rest the downhill par 4 11th will remain long in the memory, and the 12th will have you wondering just how far you can afford to hit your tee shot with water at the bottom of the fairway. With one or two exceptions the fairways are reasonably friendly, so a course that anyone can really play. I'm not saying they'll necessarily score well though. The greens are pretty tricky too. It's not a flat course, so if you have any issues with a few climbs then this might be one to consider getting a buggy. It is worth playing though.
