Lovely place to eat. The food was great and tasty. The service was fantastic, they were very attentive and friendly. Especially Tracey who looked after us.

My wife and I went for dinner and this was our first time at The Hut. The food was good and portion sizes were generous enough. Prices were reasonable too. It’s really a pub (with full table service) so decor and ambiance don’t count for too much but both were adequate. The only gripe we had was the rather poor quality of service. When you have to be calling over the waitress,repeatedly, because she’s chatting at other tables (and not just the once) then it gets a bit disappointing. And it’s not like she was young and inexperienced. As mentioned earlier, this was our first visit so maybe the service is generally better but on this occasion, not so much.

From seating to being served food took 55 minutesThe waiter was very apologetic (certainly not his fault and nothing he really could do, as it seems he was all on his own)To sit there than long with a 4 yr old was a bit poorNot even was he brought the colouring pencils they promised.Poor boy even looked over the balcony to view the chefs cooking as he was waiting for one bowl of pasta.Being told there are big tables below that require service means nothing to us, as we are customers as well.Being put up stairs and forgotten aboutFood was mediocre and certainly not worth the waiting time.Will definitely not revisit this venue, as it does not meet the standards that other restaurants in the chain manage to achieve.

We went to The Hut for my birthday lunch. Food was great. Had the mixed grill. What I’m more impressed with is the service. Tracey G served us and she is fantastic! She checked that everything was alright a couple of times and even remembered what we liked from our previous visit more than a week ago! Thanks Tracey.

Came here for lunch last Sunday. Food was okay, good portion sizes but not the best quality. I had ribs and chips with some cheesy garlic bread. Service very good and attentive. We thought it was quite expensive for basically a standard pub meal even with some blue light discount

Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive.We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.

Had a 63rd birthday here. T bone steak for £20 tasty and good value. 3, 4 0z steak dinner was superb. 2 others had lunch time menu which was good value for money. All in all a very good meal cooked well and service was very good. Never had a bad steak here always very good.

We had our work Christmas party here. There were 10 people and we all had a fantastic time. We pre-ordered our food which all came correctly and met all our dietary requirements. The portions were so big and filling. Plenty of veg and meat of the roasts and large portions for pudding! Our waitress was brilliant! So friendly, polite and attentive. We had plenty of drinks and sides when needed and were able to pay the bill easily. The whole experience was great from the restaurant atmosphere, food choices and service. We will definitely be back for our Christmas party next year!
