PetMedics Veterinary Surgery - Salford

The vet who saw our cat was very attentive and caring. However the cost of medicine for the cat was very high. The same medicine from pets4vets in Swinton was much cheaper. But perfectly OK to use in an emergency.

Took our cats for annual vaccinations and check ups at The Height where we had great service from Ursula Lanigan. Very courteous, informative and helpful. Thanks Ursula!

Very nice vets staff are very nice aswell

£76 for ear drops for my dog. Not sure if that's value for money. You make your own mind up. The guy who looked at my dog was pleasant enough. Surgery was empty & looked as though it could do with being refurbished. Probably be no more expensive than any other vets but they just play on your love for your pet.

Vets are lovely but reception staff is awful , really rude and in no rush to help get booked in. Have to argue for an appointment every time I ring!

Had to repost this review has my last one was taken down like I said in the last review.I implore you to not to use this vets in a emergencyIf you can find somewhere else please do so.I tuck my my dog here and before they ask for any details they wanted to know how much he was insured for.When they found out they kept him kept him in over nightA when I asked what treatment he had received theyDidn’t know he had a X-ray which shown a blockage which wasn’t acted upon. And the incoming vet didn’t no anything about the treatment given to him or even told anything in the hand over shift. There lack of action and totally incompetent I think was a contributing factor in the lose of my dog life. And a loving family member. So again I implore to think twice and do not take your pet hereOnly interested in the money they can make for you. And less about the care. I’d try to spare anyone what we had a family had to go though. They obviously don’t want anyone reading this has it was taken down in just 2 daysThanks for reading this mark. I can't fault petmedics, I don't know if they charge a little bit more than the usual rate but they are all really helpful!Especially the reception staff I've had plenty of advice over the phone when they consult the vet and then given me the advice over the phone which has saved me bringing my doggies in and also the charge of seeing a vet and all their advice has worked up to now.I've never had an experience with any of my doggies where they have been seriously unwell so I can't comment on the whole procedure of the money and the insurance but I have taken out an insurance which the vets suggested to me and advertise everywhere in the vets and they explained the whole procedure that basically they do the claim for me on the computer and my insurance company just send them the money.But overall they have always paid attention to my doggies and made sure they are seen to appropriately and efficiently and even though my dogs hate going they always get a few treats after their dreaded injections.Also not to mention that if you join petmedics you also get a discount if you have to take your beloved pet to the hospital in Salford as they must be the same company which is always a bonus as it can be very expensive especially if you haven't got insurance....every penny helps :)
