Delicious Hainanese Gravy Noodles! Also had the Gluten-Free Steam Dumplings, Fried Enoki Mushrooms, Hainanese Chicken Broth & a pot of Jasmine Tea.Lovely little neighbourhood spot in Clapton/Hackney. A new local favourite of mines. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners & cook.Do try if you’re around & wanna try great regional Chinese food.

The food here is really good to start off and I have been multiple times. My last two visits have been terrible though and I won’t be wasting money again. The second to last, we waited 2 hours for a meal that the one guy who is there waitering forgot about, so we had to remind him. When the food came the chicken fried rice had small bones in. The guy in there is very forgetful and cannot handle this place on a busy night at all - which is understandable but you need to hire more staff!!!! The last time I went I waited 1.5 hour for food and my friend is vegan so we ordered the vegan dumplings, she took one bite and it was fish! When I said to him, his reply was ‘well you can eat it’. He is under so much pressure from it being very busy and is resulting in him forgetting everything from people sitting down to what food they’ve ordered to then coming across quite rude. I would not recommend wasting your money here and if you have a food requirement- it is risky to go because he is so forget, you won’t remember it. Your best bet of eating in less than an hour and having good quality food is going when it is not busy instead. If busy, avoid!!!

Love this gem of a place! I had the most amazing beef noodle soup tonight and morning glory was.. glorious! It’s a BYOB which is rare and awesome. Super lovely staff and good vibes all round :)

Food is good, but service was extremely slow: more than one hour before we got our mains. They excused themselves only when I raised this before paying the bill. The staff said we were simply unlucky for arriving at a time the restaurant was extremely busy. But I've spoken to other people who have been at this restaurant before, and they said this is an ongoing issue.

Finally came here for a special dinner after wanting to try this restaurant for months. It exceeded my expectation, and we were so pleasantly surprised! We ordered the coconut aroma squid, fish rice noodle soup, and shredded fried beef with rice. Everything was really delicious, the soup was delightfully spicy and the pickled cabbage was wonderful. My partner really loved the beef, and he was so happy to see the many gluten free options on the menu. We're sorry we didn't try it sooner! Service was pleasant and reasonably paced, and a corkage charge is completely standard so I don't see why others have complained about these things. Far outshines the offerings on the other side of the road... A new local favourite for us!

Really nice food, generous portions and friendly service! We went there several times and the dishes we tried ranged from noodles to soup, from meat to dessert... Everything has been yummy! One advice would be make them less salty. The best Chinese restaurant in this area.

Really delicious food and friendly staff! BYOB is also always a nice addition as well. Pictured is the hainanese chicken rice set, and sweet and sour chicken. Both tasted amazing.

We had really delicious ‘home cooked’ Chinese food here. The food was made completely fresh, really flavoursome and not oily at all. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu is superb - there’s a rich variety of both veggie and meat dishes to order. Has become one of our favourite ‘authentic’ Chinese restaurants in London!

Friendly service, a nice cosy restaurant and superb food. Great hainanese chicken, morning glory and pho noodle stir fry.
