Hooton Park Hangars

What an absolutely lovely day out!Good parking, clean facilities, and a lovely café (NAAFI), the volunteers were all lovely and extremely knowledgeable, you can tell they have a real passion for the history of RAF Hooton Park and the surrounding area.Some amazing aircraft were on display and I can't wait to see the expansion (Hopefully next year) there were even some cockpits that you could sit in. Some really interesting displays that weren't aviation, looking at the WW2 bomb shelter, air raid shelter, NAAFI, and some hands-on exhibits for the Home Guard.A pleasure to be there and I can't wait to go back.

Had an excellent couple of hours exploring the old hangers and aircraft within, alot of very knowledgeable people happy to talk to you would recommend to anyone with a interest in aviation or history.

Took grand son and he loved the model trucks and diggers
