I called feeling panicked after an accident and was told to make my way to the ED. I was seen very quickly by the wonderful, friendly and professional staff who treated and reassured me. Thank you to the staff involved and all our wonderful NHS.

This hospital is absolutely amazing. I had a visual disturbance lasting 24 hours. My GP recommended making an appointment to be checked. From walking in, i was looked after in the most caring professional way. I can not fault the process and would give my grateful thanks to the entire team for giving me peace of mind.

I went to Sunderland infirmary today my appointment was 1.55 I got there 1.40 and within a minute I got seen too by a lovely lady. Then next to photograph ward who also were fantastic and bk to consultant mr smith.. all staff friendly and I cannot praise this place enough. Well done all!

I attended the glaucoma clinic on Thursday 10th November.Excellent, quick, seemless service.Joanne and her team were lovely, extremely professional.They work very hard to look after their patients, despite being short staff the service they provide is excellent.They deserve a huge pay rise!

The staff on Sunday afternoon were marvelous are caring, totally amazing.I could not ask for better treatment from the NHS. I teased them that I was allergic to my wife, but we have been married nearly 51 years and she is my mainstay, aswell as my carer as I have dementiaThank you to you all including LynnKind regardsKen

I attended the eye infirmary today after been referred from my optician. The service, care and professionalism I received beginning with the reception staff and continuing to the optician and doctor I saw was fantastic. What a team they have at this hospital. Staff are absolutely fabulous! From the very moment we arrived without an appointment we were supported helped and every test etc done no corner cuts etc staff on the ward were absolutely amazing I honestly can not fault anyone or anything at this hospital!
