Showcase Cinema de Lux Liverpool

Refurbished!I’ve been to this Showcase over the past two decades and it needed this refurbishment, now the cinema rooms are great.Firstly, there is a brand new cafe and a dedicated ticket area which looks great. Haven’t tried them personally and I booked online using the app. If you’re a showcase member you get discount. I watched the Dr. Strange: Multiverse and it costed £7.50.There are now two brand new drink dispensers too with lots of drink options including different coke flavours (same machine used at Five Guys).The cinema rooms used to have the classic velvet fold-out seats but now they have leather reclining chairs and there’s so much leg room! There are plenty of seats in the cinema rooms too, it’s never super busy so it’s a good cinema experience with little to no disruptions. The room was very clean too.One thing they didn’t upgrade was the toilet room. No automatic taps, soap dispensers and no new high-powered hand dryers.Overall, the Showcase has made a lot of improvements and the overall cinema experience is great, it’s a lot cheaper than the Odeon. Although I would’ve liked to have seen the toilet room upgraded too. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this cinema over others in Liverpool.

Best cinema I've ever been in. Lovely leather recliner seats, they are that relaxing I've fallen asleep twice. I find that the best performances are the early morning ones as it can get full later on in the day.

The seating in the cinema itself is great. Big recliner chairs that are really comfortable, even for a big guy like me (6'5 - 27st). Cinema prices are cinema prices (far too expensive but it's never changing!) Staff were great but it did feel understaffed for the amount of people there (Barbie/Oppenheimer week).

A proper old school cinema that seems to have been around for ages. The interior is starting to show it's age. The toilets are looking a bit tired. We went to see Beyoncé and the speakers weren't the best and one sounded like they were blown. Also you could hear the sound from the screen next door.On another note, the two tickets that we bought cost the same price as one did at one of the other well known cinemas. The entrance to the cinema is well presented with the foyer and halls being clean. The staff are friendly and chatty.We would quite happily visit again! Though it needs a bit of investment.

This is a really nice cinema. We went to see the Barbie movie. At first we couldn't find parking but then we found the car park behind the cinema and there's loads of parking there. The tickets were reasonably priced. Food is still expensive but that's what we expect at the cinema and you do get very big portions. Unfortunately they didn't have any large popcorn bags when we went so we got a medium. The staff are really nice and helpful. The seats in the film room are massive and very comfortable. They can be reclined so you can get really comfy while watching a film. The bins in the hall aren't very big so when we came out we had to put our rubbish next to the bin. The toilets were very clean. Good experience and will be back.

Always clean the seats are so comfortable with masses of leg room and even if a really tall person sits in front of you your view is not restricted. A good selection of sweets and treats available but the staff are so very slow on the counter.

The screen quality is very good with clear sound. There are two wheelchair spaces as far as I could work out. Family said the seats were very comfortable. The nachos are probably the best out of all the cinema chains and I have yet to try the disabled toilets so can't comment. Disabled parking was easy and very close to the automatic entrance door. Overall good experience.

Very Comfortable and relaxing to watch a good film. Being able to bring own snacks in is really helpful.
