Happy House Chinese Takeaway

Fantastic Chinese. Ordered the large salt n pepper box which was full of meat and tasted amazing. Portion sizes were huge and great value for money. Also ordered salt n pepper tofu which was crispy and then soft in the middle and full of flavour. Delivery was with in 20 mins of order, very cheap and delivery driver was lovely. Will be our go to Chinese in the future.

We used to go to a different Chinese for many years but we've found the food to be really nice and although it's slightly more expensive than we used to go to, it's not as salty as the other one and as such, more enjoyable overall. :)

Spring rolls literally pooling with grease inside and at best like warm. Straight in the bin. Cantonese sweet and sour chicken was OK. Cantonese sweet and sour pork was dry and sickly. Made the mistake of pouring the sweet and sour into the plate. Pouring being the operative word. The large dinner plate couldn't hold all the sauce. Was more like a sweet and sour large thick soup. Straight in the bin. Some prawn crackers were brown on the edges, in the bin too. Tried this one as Wonder Kitchen closed on Mondays. Won't be returning I'm afraid.

19 pounds worth of junk. The beef tasted old. Sui mai had grisly bits in. I won't be ordering anymore.

Just want to say a massive thankyou! Food was beautiful! Delivery was earlier than we was told so highly satisfied! Thank you for the freebies you sent, the tester desert was amazing!!! I highly recommend best Chinese by far that we have had in the Aston area! Others don’t even compare! Thank you

Had a lovely meal tonight. Salt & chilli chips were basic but tasty and my son loved the same chicken wings. The beef chow mein was gorgeous and a big portion too. Delivery was early and food piping hot. Will definitely use them again

Out of all the Chinese takeaways in the Swallownest, Aston, Aughton area this is by far the best.The food most importantly tastes very good, with generous portions. I would highly recommend the Chef's Speciality of Smoked Chicken. It is by far the best food I have ever gotten from any Chinese and after trying it I can't help but get it every time I order. After introducing it to my family, they also absolutely love it. This hidden gem on the menu is an absolute MUST.The cost is around average for all takeaways in the area.It is worth note that by spending certain amounts of money you do get free items, as seen below:•FREE Prawn Crackers for orders over £18•FREE Spring Rolls for orders over £28•FREE Chicken Wings or Bottle of Coke for orders over £38Lastly if you fancy a delivery rather than pick-up then your in luck as if you live within 2 miles you can get it delivered.
