Long Acres Kennels, Cattery and Small Animal Boarding

Highly recommend Longacres Kennels & Cattery. We have been boarding our 2 dogs for a few years now when Jan and Ian took ownership of the kennels. Excellent service and care of our dogs in a warm and comfortable environment, all credit to Jan and Ian . It is satisfying that our dogs are being cared for and are happy when we are away. Longacres are fantastic! We have been using them to look after our Rottweiler Thor for a couple of years now and he is always superbly looked after. He can be a bit wary with strangers and we were worried how he would cope, but they were great with him and he now LOVES going for his wee breaks waiting impatiently by the car as soon as he figures out we’re dropping him off. Reasonably priced for five star care. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I have used the kennels on several occasions and have booked for several more. I find Jan and Iain helpful, professional, thorough and meticulous. The place is immaculate, my dog, and my cat seem well cared for. In fact, my neurotic collie dog actually gained weight the last time she was there, which is most unexpected as she generally doesn’t eat when she’s away from home. My cat just loves the heat lamp.

Excellent place for our cat, expansive accommodation, loads of windows, inside and outside.

Jan and Ian are such a lovely couple who take really good care of the animals, my dog can be very protective and doesnt usually like other men, but he and Ian bonded very quickly. will definitely be a returning customer.
