Sugared Almonds Bridal Emporium

Sugared almonds have been amazing throughout the process of myself and my husband getting married! We were forced to postpone our wedding date 5 times from 23rd May 2020, eventually finally getting married on 15th august 2021. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress to begin with but then after we had to postpone they showed their support and offered advice when I needed it. Following a bad experience in a different bridal shop I recently booked a VIP bridal appointment at Sugared Almonds and oh my goodness....it was fantastic. It was everything a bride could ask for when trying to find that perfect dress. We had prosecco, buns, macaroons, tea, some lovely balloons and most importantly a private 2 hour appointment with Abigail to really spend time looking for a dress.Abigail is absolutely amazing as was the other lady helping with my appointment. They are incredibly friendly and helpful and make you feel like you've known them for years. They listened carefully to features I liked of each dress that I tried on and knew exactly which ones to suggest next to follow it. Sugared Almonds have a fantastic range of beautiful dresses that even managed to bring my lovely mum to tears! I cannot wait to go back and try my dress on again when it arrives, thank you so much Abigail and team for making it such a special, and perfect, experience.

I found my dress of dreams at Sugared Almonds! The ladies were so helpful at making the dress perfect. Being only 5ft 2 it needed length taking off and straps altering and they did it beautifully.I had a mini-meltdown about 3 months prior to the wedding

I decided to get married within 6 weeks and Abi was the best! I found my dress right away and it was just PERFECT and I felt like a princess. Highly recommend!

The ladies of Sugared Almonds made finding my dress the loveliest experience. During my first appointment they allowed me to try various different styles to help me really decide on the one and at no point did I feel rushed into a decision.When we had to postpone our wedding 4 times (due to covid) they were so supportive during the uncertain times. Answering all the questions I had and then as the day approached ensuring that the dress was fitted perfectly.I literally couldn’t thank them anymore for giving me the most wonderful experience.

I'm so pleased I chose to go there as I was quite daunted by the prospect of choosing/wearing a wedding dress but they made everything feel easy and natural from the first contact. They have a fantastic choice of styles - all gorgeous quality, it's like a chocolate box of dresses in their emporium. It is, I think, the cream of the crop. My dress really is beautiful, the quality and detailing are stunning and I will forever cherish it. They really are excellent at reading what you need and gently guiding you towards it. I don't hesitate in recommending them and their first rate in house alterations. I will be returning one more time to get my dress professionally cleaned and packed into a box. I want to start by saying a huge thankyou to Sugared Almond Bridal for the quality of service I received from the very first time I visited the store to the day I collected my dress. I couldn’t recommend them more! I got married October 22, a year after I first visited the store to try on my dress.For reference, I had been to 4 bridal stores before finding this store and can honestly say the reason I chose my dress here was not only because the styles they stock here are very beautiful and diverse, but also because of the service received - compared to other stores I honestly didn’t feel at all pressured into making a decision for a dress on the day, was allowed to take photos when trying on so I could show my bridal party who couldn’t make it, and was advised that if I was feeling unsure to go home and think it over (which was exactly what I needed to hear). I went home that night and couldn’t stop thinking about the dress and that’s how I knew it was the one for me, but also I was more than happy to purchase from this store as the staff were super lovely, and cared about their customers happiness more than securing a sale.5 stars from me and couldn’t recommend them more! I cannot speak highly enough about the amazing team at Sugared Almonds Bridal Emporium. The selection of wedding dresses is amazing and I was so pleased to find that they stocked Sottero and Midgley dresses. The staff were so knowledgable. They were so accommodating and did everything they could to ensure the appointment went so well. I got the dress of my dreams and the bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful in their Bramley Rodgers dresses. The team were so amazing at reorganising everything after Covid scuppered our first wedding date. The fittings were brilliant and the seamstress did the most incredible job at ensuring we all fitted into our dresses beautifully. I felt like a princess on my wedding day. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of making an appointment.

Great experience for someone who dislikes shopping and in not very confident. Thank you Katy for giving me the vision of the dress I knew was what I wanted. Customised to fit with a corset, and take out the layers to make it less poofy, when Karen had finished - it was exactly what I envisaged. I felt amazing in it, and was so confident all day.
