Lovely green area l. Can even play putt putt over large area of the links. Also nice pub on the edge called Golf who will provide clubs and balls

I love the Meadows, it's so great having such a wonderful green space in the middle of Edinburgh. Depending on where you are, there are fantastic views over to Arthur's Seat. All in all, a beautiful jewel in Edinburgh's regal crown.

Large, green open space. On the warm August days I walked through this Edinburgh park, it was busy with families, students and the many visitors who'd gathered in Edinburgh for the Festival

A great city park with nice views of the Edinburgh Castle. There is ample space for children and it is nearby a lot of amenities. This winter there was snow and it was great for sledding!

Great place for a walk or a short game of Golf. I feel lucky to live near such a place where I can just walk and play golf whenever I feel like it. Walking all the way to the top of the links gives you really great views of the Barclay Viewforth Church and the Edinburgh Castle in the distance.Posting the Golf Map and a shot of the Viewforth Church and Castle for reference.

A wonderful peaceful place set in the middle of the city. Take your time walking through it to refresh and relax, watch the changing of the seasons on the colours of leaves of the surrounding trees, take a look up at the profile of Edinburgh's Arthurs Seat set against the blue sky or clouds of the day. Or visually explore the turrets and spires of Barcay Church.

Went to the pitch and putt. Bring your own clubs and you can play for free or you can hire clubs and balls from the Golf Tavern for £5. Good morning's entertainment.

Best way to start your golf trip. Pub across the street has a putter wedge and a beer deal (so you can leave your clubs in trunk if you want.)It looks fuzzy, but the ground is rock hard and bounces are fun to play!

Beautiful large park next to the university of Edinburgh. Has children's play area towards the Meadows. Numerous benches where you can sit and enjoy a sunny day.
