Tyrella Beach
Hugely disappointing and plastered in peoples' discarded beach items, litter and plastic toys. The plastic marine pollution at the western end of the beach is appalling. I've never seen anything worse. Also, some inconsiderate people have just let their dogs foul on the wooden walkways through the dunes and that is just another negative thing about this beach.I would not recommend visiting here.

Tyrella Beach
Amazing sand beach I have ever been to. Before that I though Downhill beach was the best in Northern Ireland, but now I give Tyrella beach the same rank. It is not as wide as Downhill but it is so clean because dogs are not allowed here. The white, fine sand is very nice for kids to play. There is also a good view the of Mourne mountain. It definitely worth a GO every sunny day.

Tyrella Beach
Gorgeous beach. Fantastic sunsets and good for dog and safe for young children due to the very gentle slope and wide open views.

Tyrella Beach
Huge, clean beach with sand dune walks and toilet facilities which is ideal. Life Guards are also patrolling the beach area adding some extra peace of mind. Beach is extremely flat and water is quite shallow for a decent distance. During summer months the car park is £4 (cash only). Beach is remote so bring your own snacks & drinks for the day. Highly recommended.

Walk onto Tyrella Beach and walk right, head up to the White House and cottages. Stick left of the White House and keep walking. You will discover two beautiful beaches and a seat to sit on and enjoy the view of the Mourne Mountains

Tyrella Beach
There are beaches in Ireland that lay claim to epic film locations, exotic inhabitants or remote beauty. They all have their charms but can they say that they are where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea? Whether sun, wind, snow or rain this is an inspirational place that has known tragedy and loss but still possesses immense beauty. From St John's Point Light house, ( tallest in Ireland) on the north side to the majestic Mournes on the south with nothing but the sky and sea in between. Lose yourself and your troubles.

Tyrella Beach
Beautiful beach for a lovely barefoot walk along. Was £4 to park in the carpark which I thought was a bit expensive though. There were toilets and they were clean.
