C Four Paws - Dog Boarding Pet Hotel

I left my 2 treasured doggies at C4Paws for the first time. Neither of them had been in kennels before and at 11 and 9 years I know it would be worrying for them. It's written a list of likes and don't likes, meal times, how they played etc and the staff just took all this in their stride and fully appreciated how I felt.I need not have worried, they sent me photos of them running and playing in their secluded field. They even washed their bedding for me. I also collect my friends puppy and the only after effects I can see are that they are very tired and have slept for a good few hours now. Would I recommend these kennels? Yes definitely.

We regularly use C Four Paws when we go away. On first impression everything went smoothly and we were kept updated on our dogs stay during each visit. More recently we've had a few concerns, during recent stays our dog lost about 10% of her body weight but we put this down to stress and separation anxiety. Potentially not the kennels fault.But I collected her this morning after a short weekend stay. I was advised she'd had an upset stomach and had passed blood in diarrhoea the day before & that she still wasn't back to normal. I was slightly worried that we had not been notified after passing blood but I didn't dwell on it.Once home it became apparent she wasn't well at all, she had hives allover, her face was swollen and blotchy, her eyes where puffed up and she is covered in sore red blotched. Only Hours later she was at the vets having been prescribed two lots of antibiotics and had lost almost 4kg in weight. I understand her illness isn't necessarily the kennels fault but after speaking to CfourPaws following our meeting with the vet I was advised that the kennel team had not noticed anything wrong with her & her stay there was normal (even though she'd been passing blood in her stools and she was clearly in quite a bad way).Left untreated her symptoms could quickly of become life threatening. I find it difficult to understand why owners aren't notified when a dog in their care is ill (passing blood in their stool) or check over carefully should worrying symptoms arise. Really not acceptable!

Brilliant care given to my two staffies. They’ve not been in kennels for many years and they treated them so well.They also drove the dogs to our wedding and stayed while we had photos with them and took them back to the Kennels. Brilliant service and would definitely book again.

Made to feel very welcome when I dropped my dog off for a couple of days. Nice and tidy reception area. Was lovely to receive photos of Ozzys stay.

Sally always comes out of here as happily as she goes in. Always appears well looked after. Superior lodgings and a paddock for exercise. She must have been good as she was awarded dog of the month!

These kennels are far superior to any kennels we have used previously and can't recommend them enough.

Called to view before booking our dogs in. Really glad we did because although it's a great setup our dogs really wouldn't like it. Staff was helpful and priced cheap so depends what your looking for.

My two senior cats and I recently did a long distance house move and needed a pet taxi to get from London to County Durham straight after our removals van left. It was a very stressful move, trying to coordinate several things by remote but Katie and driver Andrew made this part of it very easy. There were sudden timetable changes from the removals firm but Katie was calm and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Andrew called two days before the move to talk through the plan and then arrived an hour before the amended booking time just to make sure he wasn't late. Django and Willow were intermittently very distressed on the way up but also slept (so did I!) and I think Andrew's smooth driving and lack of loud music helped a lot. I can highly recommend Calagran Four Paws as a pleasure to deal with and very empathetic about house move stress. Thanks Katie and Andrew from me and my two cats who recovered quickly.

An absolute lifesaver when it came to transporting me and my cats from Dublin to Somerset. There was fantastic communication the entire time during the booking process and our driver Clive was incredible! They made what was a very stressful move for me and my cats, a very easy time and I cannot thank Clive and the whole team enough.

C four paws organised our trip and transported us and our beautiful animals from the UK to the Netherlands, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Great communication from the office. Our dog Ivy and our cat Romeo were a little anxious (especially Romeo) but William was a rockstar, and took really great care of all of us. The journey went well and customs procedure was smooth.
