Minibus hire Newcastle

Shocking level of service and communication. Promised bus would be sent half an hour earlier to due to issues that would still make us over an hour late for our friends wedding for the bus to still not show up on time making us nearly 2 hours late to the wedding. High price for number of pickup that were not actioned and friends having to pay for expensive taxis fares and no refund offered for unacceptable levels of service. Would not use if you value your time and money

Terrible service. There were meant to be two buses to pick us up to take us all to my cousin’s wedding and one of them broke down in the morning which I understand is out of their control but the way they handled the situation is beyond disgraceful. They made the driver call to tell us rather than doing it themselves, then proceeded to offer no solution and the one bus that did turn up wasn’t even on time and had no clue about the route which was planned meticulously by the sister of the bride. Half of the wedding party was then late to the wedding as the same bus had to make the trip twice and some even paid for taxis which ended up being incredibly expensive when a lot of money had already been paid for the bus. After the whole fiasco, the company were then defensive and refused to offer any sort of refund or even an apology initially. Please be aware the most of the good reviews on here are made by the staff of the company, only something we noticed after dealing with them to complain. If I could rate the company less than 1 star I would.

One of two mini buses did not complete the outward journey. After a lot of emails back and forth, the company have finally issued an apology for the failed journey and Shabena Mahmood has now offered 40% off our next booking. However, what should have been issued is a 25% refund of the cost of the current booking, as 25% of the agreed service was not met. At least then we would be able to refund the guests who had to pay for last minute taxis on top of already paying for a place on the bus. Why would we ever trust this company with our money again? We unfortunately fell for the excellent reviews - don’t be as naïve as us; click on the reviewers Olivia Grimshaw, Shabena Mahmood, A m and Stuart Brodie and look at the other reviews they’ve left; you’ll see that they’re all just employees, mates or relatives trying to big up the various branches of this company.*UPDATE - in response to reply from company:*Firstly, I would like to thank you for responding to my review only 3+ months after the event.Customer was advised that the bus was going to be slightly late" - in fact your poor bus driver had to contact us himself to inform us that his bus had broken down and was completely out of service since you were not professional enough to do it yourself."due to the customer herself changing the pick time at a very short notice" - the customer rang you earlier in the week to ask if it would be possible to change the pick up time to 15 minutes earlier (simply for peace of mind due to possible unexpected traffic etc.) which you said was not a problem; if it was

Absolute joke company. Charged my sister in law over £800 for a simple journey and didn’t provide the service. No refund offered. A quarter of our guests missed our wedding ceremony thanks to these guys. Avoid at all costs.Says a lot when the owners wife has to write good reviews to make the company look better - makes you wonder if the other positive reviews are faked too.

I would like to complain about the level of shoddy service received from your company, when 2 mini buses were booked to pick up guests from various locations so they could attend a wedding. At the last minute we received notice that one of the buses had broken down, we then had to rush to a different pick up point, as we were advised the bus was turning up 30 minutes early, but this was not the case, the bus still turned up late. As this was my nieces wedding day it was a very stressful situation, and it left my niece distraught that the wedding guests did not have the full experience of the wedding day, with a quarter of the wedding guests arriving over one and half hours late. As you can appreciate this experience is not something that can be repeated. Once the booking has been taken does this not constitute a binding contract to supply a service as agreed, unless a reasonable notice period is given of change, in this case none was given. The company should have serviceable buses at all times, which is clearly not the case.

I cannot say enougth about Minibus hire Newcastle , the driver picked up 17 seniors up and drove us to Edinburgh for a 2 day tour, the driver was very helpful and friendly , the bus was very clean and luxury features.We have used a lot of companies in the past and with a doubt this was the best one we have used and will be using for future trips.Thanks for all your service.

Shocking service, avoid at all costs. Hired for a wedding and the bus didn’t show up, meaning we were over an hour late and missed the ceremony. Customer service on the day and after absolutely shocking. The bus company is fine to use if you don’t want to arrive and are happy ruining someone’s big day. Would give no star is possible.

Do not use this company - it cost me over £800 for 2 mini-buses for a 30min journey and one of them broke down 1 hour before pick up. There was no solution available that would get all 30 of us to the wedding on time, and no refund was offered. I had been told that the driver who did arrive was briefed on all stops, however, he was completely unaware of the journey locations and required constant guidance. When I complained to the company after the event, they went on the defense, example response attached. When I asked for their complaints procedure, the director, Ansar Mahmood, advised me to contact the same email I was already in correspondence with and then proceeded to pretend to be his wife. The entire process was very uncomfortable and unprofessional and no refund was issued for the bus that did not show up.

Booked mini bus for my wedding. Spoke with a nice gentleman named Ansar. He was very patient and helpful. For which i am grateful. As I have had no experience using this kind of service before. Thank you.
