Bought a car from a friend who had a zetec turbo engine rebuild this was around 9 years ago the engine has never turned due to wiring loom needed sorting that's now sorted. So the engine is now ready to run or so I thought it basically needs a new rebuild as there's swarf in the engine everywhere from drilling and tapping new water housing and manifolds the cranks shot due to wrong bearings been fitted cam shaft bolts are rounded and what looks like copper crease been used to lube everything up. Stay away I have pics of the damage to back this up stay away in my opinion.

Nice guy but over bored my cylinder, costing me an extra 200 quid in resleeving.**Update** I have now had to throw away the original set of barrels and have another set rebored because at least one other cylinder was bored oversize and the honing wasn't correct for the application. Not a good experience - definitely wouldn't use this guy again.

Very knowledgeable chap, did some great work on my Toyota 4AGE engine for a very reasonable price. As is the case with great tradesman he's very busy and struggles to fit larger pieces of work into his schedule, but don't let this put you off, he's worth the wait.

Possibly one of the best engine specialists in the area. I've always been pleased with his work and its humbling to know such a skilled person. Been using him since 2012 and the wealth of knowledge he has is second to none. If you have any engine requirements from head planing to a full rebuild he's your man. If its something out of his scope (which is rare) he can direct you to the people he's built relationships with over the years. Most definitely has more experience in his finger nail than others in the York area and further afield!
