The Hollies Cattery

We left our feral" cat Miss Wallis with Barrie and Lisa for a week. This was the first time she had been to a cattery and was not happy. However

I'm ever so happy with The Hollies. It's very clean and comes with a friendly service, but Lisa is so nice that you feel like you are making a friend. My cat has so far been looked after twice to a very high standard - once was at Christmas and she even received a goody bag, which was so thoughtful and kind. She returned home relaxed and happy, plus she didn't lose any weight - a sure sign of a happy cat! I will definitely return time and again. It's purpose-built and is secure, the setting is peaceful and I'm sure my girl loved watching the squirrels and birds in the garden!

What can say about this lovely cattery. This was our 2nd year in using The Hollies and Barrie and Lisa are so friendly and make sure that your beloved cats are well looked after. It was the first year for our 14 year old cat who has a few health problems and Lisa and Barrie weren't phased at all about giving him his medication. I certainly will recommend this cattery and look forward to taking my cats there again next year for 2-3 visits. Such a lovely couple

We have a nervous rescue cat who has always struggled to settle in a cattery when we've had to leave her. The Hollies were recommended to us and we had a fantastic experience with them. Lisa's calm and gentle approach with our cat really helped her to settle and she was coming out for a stroke & a fuss, which she has never done before. My cats (age 17 and 14) had never been in a cattery before. They spent 12 days with Lisa and Barrie and they received the best care possible and thrived. Lisa and Barrie clearly love all of the cats as if they are their own. They are the owners and they take care of the cats themselves. I was kept regularly updated throughout my trip with photographs and videos and felt that I could get in touch at any time. The cats’ adjoining pens were warm and spotlessly clean and comfortable. I cannot recommend this cattery and this lovely couple, highly enough. Lisa and Barrie gave me the peace of mind to be able to enjoy my holiday free of worry. Thank you!

We love The Hollies (and Lisa's care of our two), it's such a good cattery. I'm not sure Groupie and RockCat are as keen as we are but (most) cats can't have it all their own way ALL the time. And do we feel guilty leaving them in such excellent care, what do you think? Yep, that's right, we feel like criminals when we drop them off.

Brilliant cattery. Lisa and Barrie could not have done more for us and our cat when we were between houses and the proposed 3 weeks to our moving into our new house turned into 4 months. Freya was very well looked after indeed. Highly recommended.
