Went along for lunch menu. Only anther two couples in at the time. Ordered minute steak on ciabatta. Everything hot however the steak was grizzly and of poor quality. Waitress did offer to cook fresh which they did however by the time it arrived my partner had to sit and watch me eat my entire meal. No offer of discount or compensation. Rather disappointing

Walked in for lunch on a Friday afternoon at 12.30pm. We were the only customers. We ordered 5mins after coming in and my starter and my wives meal came 40mins later. Afterwards I had to wait till the hour was up to be served the steak.Service was terrible and clearly something is wrong with the kitchen. The food was decent but not worth the wait.Would not recommend it to anyone

It came recommend at the hotel and the sample menu showed vegetarian options so we went. Service was slow despite going soon after opening and before the dinner rush. There was only 1 option that was vegetarian friendly and that was after I asked for the meat to be taken off. They were also sold out of dessert. Again we went soon after they opened for the day.

Disappointed. Service was very poor apart from one guy who was trying his best. Steaks weren't cooked as requested, Rare came as medium and vice versa, Sirloin ordered and Rump served. Although not what was ordered the steaks were tasty just a shame as it could have been delicious. Kids fish had more batter than fish. Kids steak was brittle it was so over done. Burger came raw in the middle and the rest of us were finished before it was served again. Real effort was made to get anyone's attention for drinks and the bill. The one good guy tried his best and did remove some of the food from the bill.

Outstanding! Had the pan fried duck special and couldn't have been more pleased. The entree was perfectly prepared and so were the accompanying vegetables (red cabbage and a mashed potato dish). Beautifully plated as well. Didn't expect such good fare. Price was perfect too (£15.95). Our party of 4 are wonderful meals and each of us had a glass of wine. Total bill was just under £100!

Very disappointed, have been before a few times and has always been good but last night felt like a restaurant about to closedown . Staff where rubbish and not interested in the slightest ( apart from when he was eating a chocolate bar on the restaurant floor ) and it wasn't as if they where busy there was only another two tables in, a 2 and a 4 and the four was finished which makes me wonder how it took 45 minutes for the kitchen to get the food out. When the food arrived it lived up to the rest off this below par experience , the cut of meat was not what I would expect from a steakhouse , the mushroom" looked liked a flattened button not a portabello and the sauces where either gloppy ( looked like to much flour has been added ) or water thin . When trying to get there attention for another round my friend was clearly ignored . On the upside seems the chef could work a fryer because the chips and onion rings were good . We where also not asked how our food was I.e are the steaks cooked ok for you . Will not be returning

Great food. Filling and fresh! Lighting was a bit too intense and at times a chilly breeze seems to go by. Bring a couple layers during winter.I highly recommend the burger with haggis.

High price, low quality food. 3 waiters for 6 tables and you have to wait until you finally ask for menus, service, the bill, etc. Should have checked ratings before we wandered in.

Good food and good service. Our regular place to go when in Inverness. Steakhouse so there's not a wide range but that fine because the quality of food is good. There is a daytime menu with special deals. I usually go for the main menu. Today I had venison on haggis neeps and tatties with port jus. Yum

Waiter literally went in a bad mood throwing down the menu when we asked him to wipe the sticky table!! stating that he already had!! We also had to ask for the cold soup to be heated up, warm bowl but cold contents. The main course, mashed potatoes..not so very lumpy, again cold sauce for over chewy chicken. We have been here before, it was fine, not now. We will not be back.
