One if my worst experiences. Lauren didn't get it. I just wanted a bit of shape round the front but she kept saying she can't because my hair is so fine. At the end I kept insisting and I kind of got through to her although she still kept saying she can't. What hairdresser says that?? A good hairdresser will listen and try. But this wasn't the case. Also my right side was longer. I kept pointing it out but again she didn't see it. I walked out of the salon looking like a scarecrow with hair sticking up and fringe plastered against my forehead. I nearly cried. £45 wasted

Summer did a fabulous job! She was kind, friendly and polite as well. I cannot stop looking at my hair. I don’t think it has ever looked better. Thanks so much ♥️

Fantastic hair salon!!!! Get yourself a booking quickly to experience this little gem. So grateful the Google map fairies pointed me to this hair salon on our whistle stop visit to Darlington. The interior photos on Google first caught my eye as a splendid place to be pampered but Lauren stole the show today with her brilliant and professional hair styling, her mastery in the craft is one not found with many these days. The hair consult at the start is one of two I have ever had done & her styling was 100% top class! Booked online only to be advised I had done something wrong as Paul was not available on that day! I booked well in advance for a very special occasion and was sent confirmation. Paul usually does my hair and I have been very pleased with the results of his plan in the past. I asked who else he would recommend as I could not change the appointment. I was advised David the other senior stylist.and that he would be advised by Paul of my treatment plan and how to continue this with my hair. I stressed I would like him to be aware and was assured this would be fine. What a disaster. My hair was chopped off by David who had no idea about any plan by his brother, a years growth gone in a moment. Color applied by someone else, only roots done, not full head, already washed out after 1 wash and was kept waiting whilst he attended to junior staff and other customers. Whilst I have sympathy with the fact that, David was very unwell and probably should not have been at work my daughter had paid in full for treatment I didn't fully receive and I am extremely disappointed. There is no email on website to make complaint and so have not been able to address this. David was not aware either of the payment made and had my daughter not prepaid this as a gift, I would have disputed the price for the service I received. Very very disappointed and back to square one with my hair.

Without a doubt the best haircut I've ever had. The lassies washing hair are lovely, the head massage is so relaxing. The inside of the building is clean and well decorated. Paul really got to know my hair, 10 years and nobody had ever told me I had it cut in the wrong direction so it was no wonder it wasn't sitting right! He really enjoyed the opportunity to do something creative (short, textured hair with a shaved side) and is a very talented bloke. I'm not going to bother going anywhere else. Thanks guys :)

I have a very demanding job that involves being oncall, and a lot of outdoor work, my hair takes a battering and never gets the TLC it needs.So I decided to look for a good hairdresser and get booked in. I landed on my feet at pd hairdressers!David was allocated to me, and I did feel a bit apprehensive due to a couple of the reviews, but I needn't have been.A very warm welcoming place, and David had my hair looking neater and healthier with ease. And, all whilst chatting away with a smile.I would certainly recommend, and I will definitely return to keep my hair looking it's best!

Very much disappointed! I booked a slot and came on time. Lauren took me at my time and started to do my hair. But then another client came and Lauren switched to her. I had to sit and wait, with my hair being wet, for 40 mins, watching Lauren doing haircut, blow dry, hair straitening to another client!Such a disrespect!On my question why she took two clients at the same time, and why I have to wait so long, Lauren replied that it is a usual routine.To make story short, my hair was blow dried by 3 different people. No wonder I had a nest on my head with the fringe sticking out to wrong direction. “It’s just your hair grows like that” I was told by Lauren.By the way, in the end I was charged full price as allegedly my hair was perfectly done by senior stylist Lauren, no matter I was waiting with wet hair for 40 mins and 3 different people was not able to do a proper blow dry.Is this what called “individual and specialist services”?

I recently booked a hair appointment with the receptionist over the phone and was told the senior would be available. I booked for half a head of colour with cut and blowdry to finish. Unlike some I don't get my hair done often due to the expense of it. I was really looking forward to it because I have no other time to squeeze myself in until March due to my work and other things. I then got a call back same day cancelling my hair appointment because they have short staff and the young lady who is the receptionist is clearly under trained and doesn't have a clue no fault of hers but she could of asked for assistance at the time of booking the appointment. I can say I'm very upset by this and won't be booking any future hair appointments as i feel the service was unexceptable.

Really good experience here today. Clean and professional salon with friendly staff. Most importantly, it was a very good haircut. David did a fantastic job on my hair, partner called it the best haircut he thinks I’ve ever had.
