I wouldn’t recommend this place to buy a 2nd hand car, after weeks of time and money spent I had to walk away from a deal as faults with the car kept cropping up and it wasn’t being sold as advertised, the owners acted like they didn’t know about the faults either and were ultimately happy to sell me a car with multiple issues and a dodgy MOT record. Please don’t bother writing a response to try and explain away these issues.

I have purchased an amazing Ford Fiesta. As I entered, I was greeted by Mathew, who is a great guy and helped me purchase my first car, and the atmosphere was lovely and charming. Since it was my first car, Mathew helped me chose a car suitable for my needs and the cherry on top is it was hassle-free! My father before me bought a car from wonderful Wanstead Carriages and at that time the service was as great as it was now. The next time there is someone in need of a car I will always recommend Wanstead. Keep on the good work boys!

A little sceptical as had very bad experience buying a car from far away previously . Bought a Honda FRV 14 year old from this business, after several calls/texts etc. Lovely staff, always returning calls and answering questions about anything I wanted to know. Gave brilliant advice re Bluetooth etc. All info handed over by lovely man who brought it on low loader to my address. They even left chocolates in glove compartment for me. The car is great and lovely smooth ride. Showed me there are good people out there that you can trust , delivering exactly what they say. Thanks for everything all of you.Lorraine

Got some nice cars here I liked the way they didn't push you into buying a car good relaxed atmosphere and we went away with a quality car thankyou will look here again when I need another car

Picked up my Honda Civic from Wanstead Carriages last week and delighted with it.From the off, hands down the best customer service and support I've had whilst searching for a second hand motor from the team at Wanstead Carriages. A big thank you to Andy for sourcing me a beautiful genuine low mileage Toyota Estima from Japan. Kept me informed and updated me during the delivery of the car. My car was sourced from an independent garage from japan. If you don’t want a Japanese auctioned car then call Andy and he will source you a vehicle from an independent dealer in Japan. He has a great team in Japan that speak English and do all the checks, paperwork and provide photos and videos. They do everything and all they charge is a small brokerage fee which is a bargain! After purchasing a car through Zuto for my son, I have to say I have mixed feelings regarding Wanstead Carriages, firstly we got told collection would be this week. now we are told next week. No communication from the garage I had to chase this response through Zuto. (Pls read the whole post).Rather dissapointed that I have had to to all the running, payment has been made and the car is now my property, but the garage has not contacted me once since giving them £8k Lets see if they contact me next week and update me on MY property.As a local Google reviewer. There is an expectation that one would be updated and maybe even thanked for making a purchase to their company, sadly it seems WC Ltd dont feel the same way, presently, I wouldnt recommend them to others, hopefully they will contact me and change my mind.Originaly purchased 28/03/2023 - still no communication from WC Ltd, again not overly impressed thus far...Update to follow...03/04/2023 @ 20.40Well after a call tonight It was explained that they had been keeping me informed, I believe the car is going to be ready on Wednesday morning, it was good to be informed of whats going on, my son has been calling WC daily for updates (shame he didnt tell me). Someone at WC Ltd went out of their way to call me out of hours to give me the good news..I am hoping on Wednesday morning I can give them 5 stars - the guy on the phone explained the process very cleary.Update to follow,Had a lovely email from one of the two directors this morning (04/04/2023) then a call from the 2nd Director, both had taken some personal time off and stayed open for their customers, without their expert guidance, the team struggled, on a positive, the car will be ready for pick-up at 1030am tomorrow and a few extras free-of charge from the Directors.Its very nice that although an unforseen circumstance caused a situation, the situation was rectified once senior management got involved, despite my primary complaint of very little contact and poor service, there were extenuating circumstances which caused the miscommunication.And on a final note, in contrast to my earlier statement, I would hand on heart recomment this company Wanstead Carriages for your next car or first car. because when things go wrong, they want to put it right. Dont be disheartened if things happen, just give them a chance to put things right.I promise you wont stay dissapointed for very long!!Jason.

Can’t recommend this place enough.If I could score 10 stars I would. I rang them at 5pm on a Saturday said it would take me an hour to get there they stayed open for me as was a bit late. Rang me to see if I was ok but couldn’t find them so told me where to go and where to park then came and met me. Great serviceThe car was lovely all cleaned and ready to go. I brought the car and went upstairs to do the paperwork well what a lovely office it was spotless not like some of the other garages I had been to that day. Didn’t get the guys name but he was so helpful. I know where to come for my next car.
