Stopped in for a lunch bite. Didn't disappoint. Good size portions, healthy food.Very friendly smiley local service.Served tea in big pots! YaY!

Really lovely. Great coffee and cakes. Previous comments relate to my previous visit. Cakes are still good but the service was poor today. Forgot us completely today! Also quite expensive now. Will go somewhere else next time. Disappointed today.

It's our special treat to visit. We are slowly working our way through menu and nothing has been a disappointment. Staff are helpful and polite. My only complaint is on the last occasion the multi- grain bread had a paste like quality in the mouth, for the premium price charged I would expect a better quality bread.... That said I do enjoy eating there.

Food was okay. Coffee was okay. Bit overpriced. When it came to paying, the lady literally asked for my card without telling me the price so I asked for a receipt. When I checked it the total was more than I had anticipated and there it was, on the menu ‘discretionary 10%’ service charge. Discretionary means ‘ left to individual choice or judgment’ which wasn’t the case and it was added, in my opinion, sneakily. It would have been too embarrassing to ask for it to be taken off so I will vote with my feet next time I’m in Tavistock, and go elsewhere.
