Lovely friendly salon, affordable. My children and I have had excellent cuts by Holly Brazell for years now. Holly listens to what you want and always delivers better than you'd hoped for. Highly recommend her and the salon with its friendly family feel.

I went to the salon last minute to get a haircut, I wasn’t sure what to expect on arrival but the staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming.Holly was the stylist appointmented to me, she was friendly and welcoming.Her consultation was fantastic as I wasn’t sure what I wanted.She cut and styled beautifully I was so happy with the result.I was given 5* treatment by a 5*stylist.Thank you Holly for your amazing work.

The Hair studio is a great little business for a little village. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and there’s always such a friendly atmosphere when you’re there. Holly cuts my hair and she is amazing, she’s efficient and has a real flare for what she does. 100% recommend.

Nice friendly staff, good price and parking is no problem. However, had 2 bad haircuts out of 5 separate sessions, leaving tuffs of hair sticking up so I now only go if too busy to go elsewhere (it's walking distance for me). Real shame as an avid supporter of local small businesses.[Update 20/07/2018] Went today and was confronted by Andy (business owner) who showed me my above review on his phone. He was angry but I invited him to change the review and hoped he would show resolve and turn things around with a good haircut but was rebuked, when I asked if he was going to cut my hair, he said he was surprised that I came back. Of course, it's his prerogative on who he wishes to serve in his establishment. I'd asked which part of my review was inaccurate but was told just to hand back his phone to him. I did and left.Before the confrontation, I was waiting and saw an elderly lady (Andy's mother, I presume) sweeping the floors and was touched she was keeping herself busy and helping out her son (saw her on multiple past visits), it reminded me of my gran helping my father's takeaway when I was a teenager. I remembered the openess of Andy's stories on him keeping fit cycling to work, the loyal OAP customers in the mornings and the solid state drive (a very robust and fast computer hard drive) that his I.T. friend gave him for free when they were very expensive. It's certainly a family affair and very wholesome, once my kids was waiting for my hair to be cut, and toys were brought out for them and even a lollipop (I think I gave an extra pound tip), again lovely touches that merit a star in itself (hence 2 star... along with the price).That said, somewhere in the conversation he said, You shouldn't do it to small businesses”

Definitely reccomend! Holly is the only person I will let touch my hair, just what I want everytime!

Nice staff, I got a hair cut from them recently it wasn't bad. Although with the rates being at par with any other hair studio, I would prefer going to my Reading city centre salon.
