Terrible Sunday Lunch experience. Staff refused to shut an external door (its 9*C outside) despite being asked by 4/5 tables as “we just can’t”, embarrassing to watch a whole restaurant sit in their coats, including some more elderly customers. Food was ok but the service was appalling. Ended up leaving having waited 25 minutes for plates to be cleared (they still weren’t) to find the staff chatting round the corner. Maybe they were too cold to move. £6.20 for a pint of lager just topped it off. Live local but won’t be going back.

Fantastic food, nice warm rooms on a cold winter's day. The staff were all very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Won't be drinking in here again. Card only payment!Don't be complicit in a cashless society. You're in a small rural town not the centre of Leeds! Lots of other drinking establishments in Holmfirth who will happily take cash. Don't support this nonsense.

Staff were great. Restaurant, coffee house, bar, food & drink all excellent.Rooms were nice and beds really comfy.Car park is tiny and spaces limited. Walls are thin, you can hear other guests snoring and in the bathroom through the cellings and walls. Live music venue next door and the crowds out the back kept us awake until 2.30am on our 2nd night (our friends round the front of the hotel were not disturbed). Nice setting, very pleasant village with shops and eateries.A good stay apart from the noise.

Went for a family meal for mum's birthday, staff were really nice and couldn't do enough, food was delicious and plenty of it. I had the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding Sunday lunch, no room for pudding, definitely be back soon.

Absolutely stunning place to visit rooms were clean and tidyWe were doing a 30 mile charity walk and had to be up before breakfast started but the lovely people here got up earlier to accommodate for us and made breakfast and coffee for our walk :) couldn’t fault the place

This is a great location in Holmfirth everything just a few minutes walk. The room is comfortable & clean as is the bathroom & even the free toiletries are quite pleasant. Equipped with all you could need a fan, iron, ironing board, hairdryer & even a stand inside the wardrobe to open up & put your case on to unpack infact if the rooms had a fridge in with free bottled water it would have been perfect.

The staff at the Old Bridge are really welcoming. They helped mr plan my Mum's 90th birthday and kept the surprise a secret. The rooms are cosy as is the dining room. The breakfasts were fantastic.

Great place..very popular. Rooms are nice and clean, bar is great and the food in the restaurant is fantastic, with a special shout out for Tate who was outstanding whilst serving us . Only stayed for one night but will definitely be returning. Highly recommended....cant go wrong here.
