My three friends and I had lunch on Saturday at The Pier. Our experience was perfect in every way; I could not fault anything.The restaurant was delightful, the staff were excellent and our meals were delicious.This was the best meal out that I have had this year.I urge you to try this place!

Traditional good beach hotel. Great location, good service and food selection. Very busy on my visit. This is the hotel used in the film, Yesterday, a spoof Beatles story. Adnams beer selection. Parking, theatre close by and other facilities. Good selection of Dahlias in the gardens.

I am old and disabled.The staff were all so kind and helpful towards me from helping me up inn the lift and up 2 steps.Helping me to add money to my pay as you go phone and much more. All done so willingly by many of the staff.The bedroom so comfortable and everything to hand.I can see the big ships travelling in the harbour.(My photos not very good)The fish and chips are the best you can get anywhere.Gorgeous dining room.Unfortunately mine was a quick two night stay visit to my critically ill brother in hospital, otherwise I would definitely come back.Thanks so much for the lovely caring staff. Tea and cake on a drizzly afternoon by the sea. Good surroundings and pleasant staff. Can't say anything about hotel facilities as we weren't staying.

We had a lovely experience, the food was very good pub food, service was quick and friendly and willing to make changes to the order so we got exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be going back.

We’ve 2day breakfast there and some coffees.Nice sea view.The only disappointment was that the bar/kitchen/hotel opens at 8:30 so I was waiting outside with my daughter for the breakfast.

Didn't stay there but go quite a lot for lunch. The service is always good, staff lovely and situation great. Food is good as well, not fancy but cooked and presented nicely.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very good in every aspect although our room was a little small. The food was excellent we ate in the bar every evening. Wife has complex dietary issues which were dealt with smoothly and effectively. Free car park. Would definitely stay again.

Stopes by for breakfast late morning, very warm and cosy inside the bar area. Plenty of seating outside of you have your dog with you. Breakfast was very tasty. A great view.

Good food, and nice hotel, but make sure you book ahead and don't show up late at night, or you may be met by a locked front door. The restaurant had some odd rules on paying for food, almost written in a way a Dad talks to a child, odd... but once we got past that, the food was quick and delicious. Overall a decent experience.B
