Lee Valley Marina, Stanstead Abbotts

Very busy marina, 6 of us were invited to have a trip on a long boat. A new experience, hope I get invited again.

These unqualified idiots nearly killed me on two occasions. From there negligence. They have unqualified staff. And totally disreguard their duty of care to their customers and to the public. When you try to complain it falls on deaf ears and you just get lies after lies after lies. PLEASE TRUST ME WHEN I SAY DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

Very knowledgeable and helpful team. My boat couldn't survive without them. I don't live here and only work on my boat restoration in stints, when I'm able to afford it, so it's good that she is in safe hands.

They welcomed me in with warm open arms, I was surrounded by a community who were so friendly made me feel safe and at home.So many knowledgeable people who willingly shared their knowledge and advice.After the 7 days were up it was time to go back in however because of my bad knowledge, my boat still wasn’t sea worthy and continued with problems. They have a really busy schedule yet they were accommodating and put me back on land so I can sort out the issues. 8 times the boat got craned in and out.This marina has been so patient with me and the staff have been so helpful and supportive. I’ve come and messed up their schedules 4 times yet they’re still as warm and welcoming.They have resorted my faith in the boating lifestyle, I have found friends in the process.The only boat yard who given me a chance and I’m forever grateful.

Had an honestly really good experience here. A man with a beard on the desk gave me loads of advice on how to fix my stove. I spoke to him three different times through out the job and he was patient and friendly on each occasion.I also found Terry who worked in the Chandlery to be very helpful and knowledgeable.Thanks Stanstead Marina!

They were amazing, a really enjoyable experience very helpfull and professional can't thank them enough for the the help and service..

This place has only one positive point..it has a chandlers that either keep what you may need, or can order it fairly quickly. The marina is a shambles, with rubbish boats, trailers and stuff everywhere.

A large marina, not the prettiest as it has the workings of a boat yard too and it seems where some caravans come to die overlooked by a pylon, but good electric and water points, great spot for the River Lee and friendly staff who are knowledgeable and with a laid back nature that you just relax! And some characters on those boats too.It's busy post-Covid. Barrier in works.

Very impressed with the staff Lee Valley Marina, they are friendly, helpful to the best of their ability in the time they have available, in this busy boatyard.They are such an asset to the LV Trust.Joe Manton, the marina manager, has always been polite and respectful, listening to my concerns and  explaining options for their resolution.Sent from my Galaxy
