Academy Dental Care

I would definitely stay away from the Dental Academy and if I could give it zero stars I would.I went to the dental academy to get a new bridge fitted. However after a couple of weeks I started to get a lot of pain. So the dentist Elise Gammie took a X-ray and said that I would need to go to the hospital with out any explanation what the problem was. So I went to the hospital and the dentist there said that she breached the tooth. In other words the dentist Elise Gammie" who took no time drilled right through my tooth into my jaw bone causing it to get infected. The Hospital did try to save the tooth but in the end the damage was done and I lost my front tooth and I'm now left with a plastic plate. It has knocked all my confidence and Self-esteem. I can’t even wear the false tooth because it make me gag and I'm now left with missing front tooth. The Dental Academy are so unprofessional they just don’t care. They didn’t even try to contact me afterwards about my after-care even though they got paid over £4000. I still haven’t heard anything back from the practice or the practice manager. It was a awful and disturbing experience that I am still trying to get over."

Been going to Academy Dental Care for over 7 years. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the practice to anyone.

Joke of a dentist this Callum guy will deliberately give you a dodgy filling then when it falls out 2days later you have to make an emergency appointment to get the botched job he just did fixed and then they try to charge you another £100 when your getting the incompetent job they originally did fixed just absolute con artists do not trust them or go here, do yourself a favour find a real dentist!

I've been going to The Academy (and it's predecessor Morrison, Thompson & Walker) for over 20 years on and off (stopping when I lived away from Aberdeen and rejoining every time I returned), from when I was a teenager through to adulthood. During that time my primary dentist was first Mr Alex Thompson (who I believe is now retired) and then Mr Calum McNeil. Both are absolutely exceptional dentists - quick, efficient and personable - and I couldn't recommend the practice enough.

Been with the practice for god knows how long..turned up late for an emegency appointment due to misunderstanding and was told i was thrown out of the practice.Wow..customer service to be proud of.

Been coming here for 20+ years. Always had great service.

Callum is a Great dentist makes you feel at ease, got teeth out never felt a thing so thank you. Also the nurses that assist him,and receptionist are very helpful and nice, I missed my appointment because of snow and there was not a problem they just made me another one,thanks to all of you

I had a great experience at this facility; everyone was friendly, they made me feel comfortable, and I forgot all about my anxiety about dental clinics
