My daughter has been at KIp McGarth for the past ten weeks. Having missed a lot of school due to the pandemic it has been a great opportunity for her to go over some of the basics that she missed in maths. Her confidence has definitely grown and she has enjoyed the learning and the rewards for doing well!The lessons are in a classroom environment which has encouraged her to them seriously and to try her best.The lessons have been regular with a consistent tutor who always has time discuss progress at the end of the lesson.Homework is set weekly but it really is a recap on the lesson which has helped to reinforce my daughters learning and it’s been structured in a way that allows children work on it independently and in chunks.A fantastic experience. I contacted Kip McGrath to give my child a boost in not just his ability but mainly his confidence in Maths. This was the best decision for him as he's marks have improved in a short time and he's actually 'excited' to do the exam!!! The tutors really seem to understand the children's needs on a 1:1 basis and tailor the classes to suit them. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Kip McGrath have provided so much support for both my sons. They got my eldest through his GCSEs during Covid when he was struggling to study and have got my youngest to reach his potential. I was searching for a Maths tutor for my son as he had expressed some concerns coming up to his GCSE exams. Richard got in touch from Kip McGrath and was so helpful and managed to fit him in for a couple of sessions a week in the lead up to his exams. Very professional evaluation of my sons ability’s and gave honest feedback with a plan on how to improve his maths. My son had a really positive experience at KM Harrogate. I thought I'd be dragging him there every week (!) but thanks to the fantastic teacher he had (Alison) and the encouraging and supportive tone that Richard set at the initial 'test' session we went to, he actually enjoyed it. It helped his studies significantly, increased his confidence and focus and helped him pass the GSAL entrance exam along the way. Highly recommended.
